I know the research level is bigger but does it take longer to play and beat than the original???

The research map is WAY shorter, all you do is get a key card, use it, turn some stuff on, get on an elevator and walk through a door and its over

The visuals are much much better tho.

The research level has much less play area then the original and not as much eye candy, the research level does have a nice indoor area though that is much bigger then the indoor areas in the original level and much better looking

Try playing the game with \r_glare 1 and \r_rendermode 2 for the best visuals (not sure if it will look as good on an ati based card though)

r_rendermode 2 makes everything look like England but with tropical plants. I.e ****ing freezing.

It's shorter but much better visuals.
Sunset coming up, etc.
What I don't get is why is my framerate better? Nothing else is different.
