Using extra buttons on MX700 mouse

What do I need to do to get the extra buttons (back/forward pageup/pagedown) buttons to function ingame? I have the latest drivers from Logitech, but still cant get these to work.

In a lot of games, you have to use the microsoft drivers to get the extra buttons to work in games. Dunno if that applies to FC.

I use an MX700 with the Logitech software and all my buttons work perfectly. Here is what I set mine to do.

1: Click/Select
2: Keystroke{Backspace}
3: Keystroke{Delete}
4: Keystroke{F8}
5: Context Menu/Alternate Select
6: Middle Button
7: Keystroke{Page Up}
8: Keystroke{F7}

Just replace the keys within the brackets to your liking in the "Buttons" tab and then bind them in the game.

I also use this exact mouse. You just have to program the various buttons to work various keys that you don't normally use much with the Logitech Mouseware.

Then just click those buttons for what you want the game to use them for.

I like to use Mouse3 for my nades, and also for going back in my internet browser. So, I programmed it as keystroke (backspace) and it works for the game and the browser. Just a little tip from your Uncle Rugg. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Im using a MS intellimouse xplorer, without the software,(XP OS) and didnt have any trouble assigning the extra keys
3 button- attack mode
4 reload
5 sprint
