Does Xbox Have Better Players?

It seems like I always hear about people pulling cheap tricks like zapping someone and then gassing them but I have yet to see this in person. I only play on Xbox Live. Maybe I'm the only one but I haven't seen this at all. I have seen some people drop a **** load of gas grenades, but I almost always seem to get out alright.

Does it seem like this happens more on PC, or is it just me getting lucky.

unfortunatly everyone uses the same lame tactics. shock and smoke. but after a while of playing, you get to learn the ways to counter them.

Well since the Xbox is the only version with ratings, I suppose people on it will probably be a little more desperate to win. Players on PC just don't try, including myself since there is absolutely no reason. Bring on the rating system. RELEASE THE DAMN PATCH UBI!

Yeah ive played some pretty great Merc's and spies. For every move there is a countermove. As a merc i just keep moving! Its alot harder to gas a moving merc. Plus use alot of alarm snares so you dont get blocked out of a room because the Spy gassed it up, if you see them on your radar make a brake for the room and charge through the gas if you dont make it in time.

Boy did I speak to soon. Last night I went on and was playing against players with rankings of 6 and 7 for the first time. Damn! They loved those spy cameras and smoke grenades. I still don't want to call it cheating because you can get out most of the time without sleeping, but it was still getting VERY annoying. I guess that's why they had such high rankings. I don't want to call it cheating, but damn it's really close.

I'm level 6 and play with a level 7 guy and neither of us ever really uses spy cameras, smoke grenades yeah.. cause those are a necessity really.. Smokes and Flashbangs are a large part of it, but meh.

Anyway, my equipment is usually Smokes, Flashbangs, Chaffs, Snares.. sometimes I change it though.

Why shouldn' t we may use those gadgets like smoke or cams???
it's just part of the game. and there are severalways to counter it as a merc.
i also hate those lame, stupid combos but yeah, even there you can escape from.

don't let some stupid *sses ruin youre gameplay, just beat the hell outtha them, and be a honest spy yourself.

aslong as the merc tazor reaches 4 feet away and has a "auto lock" on spies when they are close enough, ill continue to use gas cams.
Sad when i can 3 on 1, me being merc agianst 3 spies, and own them all just by spinning in a circle shooting my tazor lol.

they were my roommates, and are as good as i. We like to test out what is and isnt possible. Found places u can backflip to as a spy and grab while in the middle of the flip and alot of other interesting things. But the merc tazor i have found to just be way over done lol.

The rankings system has a tradeoff though, because once they get it on PC people will start dropping their games to avoid the loss.

I like playing on Xbox but it's borrowed time(from my roommate) until the PS2 version comes out, but when it does, I think it will attract the Socom players and therefore have a pretty good base to draw from.
