Merc Laser?

I know the torchlight eliminates shadows, the EM vision unveils enhanced-vision users, and motion detection vision... well... err.. detects vision.

But, what is the laser for? Does it mark a spy on the radar if you shoot him while you have a laser on him? Does it make your shots more accurate? I searched around and can't find any info on it.

I think it's an ID laser... /shrug, never used it.

The Laser sight is for quick accuracy. Like a laser sight on a pistol or whatever.

It points where you're going to be firing.

The laser when equiped, will show a spy in an orange window on your hud. It works fine.

Ah, ok. I was hoping it had more function than just being a fancy target designator.

it could also be used to help point out a spy to another merc, like telling him to look where yur laser is
