Greetings,

I'd like to announce the 380th BOMB GROUP is looking for new members!
We are a new bomb group, divided into four bomb squads, each composing of four planes.

If you like to fly bomb runs with the B-17, and if you are also interested in the B-25 which will be included in the pay-add-on, just drop by at our homepage. We are the heavy guns for our "mother squad", the 310th FS, so we will have fighter cover available as well.

Simply check in on our forum and say hello, or message me or one of the 310th's pilots on the Hyperlobby.

Rgr that Lt. & we're glad to have you aboard as CO for the 530th Bomber Squadron. We're looking forward to a lot fun & some seroius destruction on some poor Japanese Air Bases as soon as Oleg get's our new B-25's ready /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
As the good Lt. said we have 4 squadrons in the 380th BG & we need to get the bombers filled with pilots. We have CO & XO postions open for the 528th, 529th, & 531st bomber squadrons. & i'm sure Lt. Futre needs an XO as well.
So if your a mud mover at heart stop by the 310th site & fill out a short application & we'll get back to you asap.

Our only requirments we have for the 380th are that you gotta love the heavies, be at least 16, and participate in squad activites as actively as real life will allow.

We maitain a TS2 Server for voice coms that opperates for the most part 24/7 & an active fighter squadron to escourt you to the drop zone & keep the Zekes off yer back /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Also the 310th FS 58th FG are still loking to fill our roster as well. So if your a fighter pilot looking for a new home or if your a rookie & new to FB stop by...you have a place for you as well.

Only available as AI plane sir. But since our bomb group is based on american bombers, we have to use the ai B-17G until we get the B-25 from the expansion pack.

We fly the Fortress from external views, but despite the fact that she has no cockpit and no bombsight, it's still more than amazing to take her into battle, and quite challenging too.

Two options:

either you try to edit a dogfight map of your own, or you join one of the online servers that has the B-17 available.
I recommend the following servers:

VFC*Host

SlamDedicated (sometimes just named Slammin)

401CdnSEABEE

One or all of these servers can be almost always found online, connect to them, pick your team, pick a "normal" plane (such as Ki-84 or Hurricane) first, hit fly, start engine, hit refly, select the B-17G from the list along with he fuel and bomb loadout you like, hit fly and there you go.

Be sure that you have binded keys for the individual engines to start them one by one.

Also look for our server as well. We keep most of the Ai bombers flyable on the 310th FS server for the 380th.

so on the 380thBG/310thFS serer on HL the B-17 will always be flyable. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif stop by one night on HL around 7 or 8 PM -6 GMT (US CENTRAL TIME) & fly the B-17 with our bomb group! /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
