View Full Version : black screen only when in northern part of the map

hey there..

So as the title say, and this could ofc be a coincidence but as i statet in the title this only happens when im in the northern part of the map ( where cold comes into play ). my game freezzes for -1 sec and then goes black, and then im forced to do a hard reset. any tips ?

AMD 8350 8 core

16 gigs of ram

R9 380 4 gig gpu

Hi and welcome.
Try to lower the graphics settings and see if the problem is gone. If that's the case then you may either wait for a patch or ask help to http://support.ubi.com

i have tried with every setting there is in grapics and every time i fast travel to the northern part i get the freeze.

I'm having the exact same problem. I've played the game for 12 hours without a single problem but I can't go to the northern part of the map with snow for more than 10 minutes without the game crashing.

My temperatures are fine and I have very good cooling

AMD 8350 8 Core CPU
32gb DDR3 RAM
R9 380x 4gb DDR5 GPU

I am curious if you guys have contacted support (http://support.ubi.com)yet - I want to know what they tell you. We have not run into this issue yet.

I got the same freezing, in the north and with the "legend of the mammouth" missions.
Maybe some problem with the amd r9 hardware.

I have

Xeon
16 GB RAM
AMD R9 285 2 GB
