View Full Version : ARs are cool, ARs are fun, why use another firearm, when they're such a fun gun!

So yeah, I put together a new firearm for myself. Been working on getting some media together for it lately.

I wish SCAR's of any type were legal in Canada. If they were, I'd own one so fast!

The AR15 is a phenomenal platform. There is a reason the US army hasn't replaced it, even with going through 2-3 trials to do just that. They are also more reliable than a lot of people give them credit for, I have but a couple through some horrible testing and they have come out quite well. Great build, clean and simple. You would be surprised how many people I have seen just completely over clutter their AR15, then they complain that their supposed 7 pound gun now weighs 10. I love the AR platform, but as of late the CZ Bren 805 and IWI X95 have been my go to rifles. I have also just fallen in love with the CZ Scorpion EVO that I SBRd. I am so broke now.

Speaking of the X95... They haven't made it up here to Canada yet in any form, but I just learned how to rock my Tavor-21 like a boss. Learned from an ex-IDF firearms instructor. Here we are running some malfunction-clearing and speed-reload drills:

I'd love to, but I already know that Ubisoft has access to actual operator types from various units around the world. They use these guys to do the mo-cap for their tactical shooters a lot of the time.

I'm just a civilian firearms instructor. I'd rather them continue to use legit operators. ;)

The Ghosts and Phantoms in this trailer were all motion captured "cool guys".

I'll take that as just a little payback for how much longer Canada had the Tavor available compared to the US. Though as of late my favorite is the Bren. I have never handled a rifle with a smoother action than the 805 Bren. If you can ever get a chance to get your hands on one, do it!
