well this sould be a question more like for pirahna but all the same here it goes

who is testing this?
is ther going to be one at all??
or is going to be like with s4 that no one had an oportunity to sample the thing (except for the usual ars*likers)
are you folkz not wondering about the extra "realistic" fealing of the new caracters?
has enybody any idea of anything??
at all?
are we, paying players going to have a say, no mater how small, in all this??
or they just espect us to cough off our hard earned cash just like that??

any feed will be very wellcome....

Dont think any Jo Public has the answers to those questions Damian,all info so far has been kept close to their chest for sure.Been lots of bull ****ting about beta testing,my guess it will be done in-home.

Returning a game isnt that simple Dan,Rip Off World (PC WOrld) and Amazon wont give refunds once you have unwrapped the game),I imagine they arent alone on this either

what i realy , realy meant is Are we going to be taken for a ride, once again??

in any case i have had a luck at that site and the screanies look fantastic..maybe a bit too realistic like, but what i am interested is not only on that but olso on the game play itsef, and for that my friend one need to have a test or at least know and trust the one that is having that test for us...
im not realy convinced that folk like elly &co.(nothing wrong with her, no ofence intended) are going to test this thing and as usual they will report what the "creators" want to hear.
that is simple not good enough...

yeah agree some thorough critical testing should be performed before release.

any software worth its salt has this done before it released anyway.

i doubt they would release it without.

- People who make public claims to become a betatester are out of business even before they get started.

- A betatester whose identity is reveiled during the test is 'burnt' and out of business.

- The betatesters will be mainly Germans, for the simple reason that the BB staff are mainly Germans. They will have to talk with each other.

- Who are the 'usual *** lickers'? If you think that this is a condition to become a tester, maybe we should talk about new *** lickers as well.

- Have you ever read a word of what testers said when they talked about S4 with BB people? I don't think so, you wouldn't say then 'that they will report what the creators want to hear'.

- Why did you play S4 all the time when all of a sudden you remember that it isn't that good, and that it should have been tested better?

Nucleus I can see where Damian is coming from,on this point.All in the english speaking community have through no fault of our own or BB`s felt that since BB were no longer able to support us,have been left in the dark totally.Possibly 100% in chat would love the opportunity to have the chance to be Beta Testers but with all due respect also know they havent a chance,as you rightly say the testers will need to report between themselves and back to BB thats understandable.I also know that during testing of s4 not all german speakers were used.I think what Damians trying to say is are players from the s4 german community (regular players) going to be asked to Beta or just employees of BB/UBI.Maybe you dont have the answers to his questions or the authority to give them,but please try to remember we in BBGC are all meant to be one big community,playing the same game,the difference being you get help and support and information from BB,we get nothing at all,other than from what we hear from others,which isnt always the truth,and this understandably causes bad feeling.

Afaik there will be external testers, that's what the german rumours say. It seems that it will start soon.

Btw we're not that happy with support on the german side either...

I think the only support we can expect for S4 now is what we already get and thats none.We have supported ourselves for the last 18 months or so,it would be easy for me to abandon a sinking ship,people have asked me why I continue to mod BBGC and also the forum,a good question,for some reason I feel loyalty towards BB.They asked me to do a job and I will see it to the end.
I like the rest of the english speakers can only hope that once S5 (call it what you will)is released both UBI and BB will take an active part on the forums and also in the lobby.The community needs a boost for sure.As for Piranha`s role his title says community manager I take that to mean the forum as a whole but I really dont know.There is a moderators forum on this board,once they get my mods sorted I can and will ask questions http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I hope they test it well, the previous settlers games where fantastic, and bycouse these are games with quite some complicated processes I assume they where tested a lot before they where released. I expect the same from s5. Can't wait to see it

I dont think the complaints of problems with the game and lack of support are new at all, I like penny and the other old timers have heard them regularly over the last three years. Only one small plea from me if anyone out there listens to us. PLEASE test multiplayer over British and Australian connections as well as German if you do external beta.

You ask why we still play Nucleus. Well with all its faults I love the game, Im addicted to it, and Ive made great friends in the lobby.
