Hi All, new to this particular forum.
Just wrote Ubisoft an angry letter concerning the issues dealing with the ATI Mobility Radeon. Want an answer from them what is happening. Have tried everything possible to get it sorted software ways.

> PLZ all WiseA*s*es, Dn't care what y'all have to say about the ATI card. This is no Phallus comparing Forum. By even responding to this post you'll only document your own stupidity <

The issues are as we all know, stuttering and dropping framerate whenever there is a chopper, car or boat nearby. Every time the direction is towards the object (even if behind a wall) the framerate goes down to almost zero, but no allways. Every time the compass goes crazy as well and this has to be a 3D mapping issue. Thus a patch would be more than suitable or I'm returning the game pronto.

>And to all the wiseA*s*es with large towers of computers and lots of blinking lights in comparison to my humble and more modest, but at least portable equipment: I'm impressed you could read this far. Did I mention that the framerate drops to zero even if the choppers in the Archive section are just standing still on the ground? No moving objects except maybe a merc in the far corner of the screen, wich would never cause any RAM exhaust. <

P.S I'd love to see you play games in business class at 30.000 Feet with your MeGaPhallus.

There is a rather long thread in the Tech Support forum about this issue.

You seem very defensive about your video adapter. Insulting people in advance is not the best way of getting some help. Regardless of what you posted, you might expect a few posts concerning the ability of that chipset to properly run this game.

Lose the attitude. You can always ignore posts that don't match with your ideas on mobile computing.

Gentle_Man... jeez, is that a misnomer or what?

Well, whether I do in fact have a solution to your problem or not is now irrelevant. Your attitude just put me off helping you in any way, Mr. Mile High Club.

Enjoy the cocktails...

A.

BTW, 30 feet isn't what I would call high-flying... or is it just that your non-phallus is missing a comma key?

From the sound of your post, neither can you.

Altitude must have gotten to him. Maybe there was a pressure leak in the cabin. Possibly too much straight O2 in the air. Or one too many little bottles.

Since those of us with towers with blinking lights seem to be able to play the game rather well. You should put your "buying power" to good use and build one for yourself http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

-EPoX 8RDA+ (nForce2)
-XP2500+@3200+ (11x200)
-Radeon 9800 Pro @ 420/380
-2x512MB Corsair XMS (Running in dual)
-Audigy2 Platinum

Gentle_Man,

You gotta be kidding pal. Its a laptop. There I said it. Btw one of the other guys here put it well about your attitude but im not going to be so subtle Im afraid.

1. Take that Radeon mobility and pound it up your keaster.

2. Get a desktop PC.

So what do you think??

The quicker they export the support desk to India the better.
