I just saw it. Not a patch on the first film. They turned what was stylish and cool into a joke. The scene with the Smith clones was just stupid (a few clones would have been OK, but they had hundreds), Neo was waaay too invincible (he barely ever got hurt), and the ending was just strange. They went to Zion, and found one survivor, who had turned up for a couple of seconds at the start. It was only saved by the music (really good).

And also, why bother killing anyone in the Matrix? Someone just says "I love you!" and they come back to life...

When Neo flies away, you see the Smiths walk away, right? Well, if you look closely you see their haircuts change back to the haircut of the stuntmen playing that role ! /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Well, that one survivor was Agent Smith! /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif Explanation: 2 People got back from the Oracle with a thing that looked like a video card, this was a sign from the Oracle that was meant for Neo, so Neo knows he must go visit here, right? Well, the 2 men come up to a phone and the first one with the package gets in to Zion safely. The second one was caught by Smith (remember: Oh my God !! Smith will suffice /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif !!) and Smith changed him in to another copy of himself. So, the copy of Smith didn't have an encryption of an Agent so he could get into Zion without being noticed in the body of that 'Bane'-guy ... So, now Agent Smith was in Zion and destroyed it from the inside; That's why he was the only survivor! Got the point?

the thing with the guy at the end of the is that Smith copied himself (his conscinousness) to the hardware (brain) of that guy... so now smith is in the real world

Well.. let's put it this way ... the Matrix was fantastic right after you saw it .. We were all amazed by the incredible effects ... But reloaded on the other hand, was great after you thought about the whole story again after seeing the movie (during the movie we were overwhelmed by special fx)...

i thought Matrix was amazing but Reloaded was ultimatly a better movie

what was the big deal with the car chase? Ooooo, ahhhh, they blew up a few semis and- OMG! THERE'S AN ACTUAL MOTORCYCLE IN THERE!!! It wasn't that big of a deal. And the 100 Smith fight went on for like 20 minutes. And not a single clone died!!!

I'm probably going to be beaten to death by someone for saying this, but... I hope Neo dies in Revolutions /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif seriously, I do. He was a cool character in the original Matrix but in Reloaded he's this all-powerful superman being. That was what was good about the original matrix- he was just learning about Zion and everything and he still barely managed to defeat smith.

with a great film you shouldnt have to sit and think about it afterwards to think it is a great movie. the whole rave scence was terrible. matter of fact half the things said at zion were terrible. the orginal was by far better because it had a great story and was a interduction to it all. reloaded shouldnt even be looked at as a movie because in fact it isnt a movie. it is half a movie. so we have to wait to see the revolutions before we can judge the sequeals agaist the orginal

and if you watch the fight with the Smiths you'll notice he gets clocked quite a few times!

and they dont go back to Zion and find one survivor, Bane is the sole survivor from the ships that were ready to defend Zion, not Zion itself!

and you wonder why you dont like the movie when you dont even UNDERSTAND it?

the reason why Neo comes back to life in The Matrix is NOT because Trinity says "i love you" its because the Oracle says "you're waiting for your next life" which is why Neo cannot become the one until he dies and comes back to life again

and Neo, in Reloaded doesnt JUST say "i love you", he uses his powers to bring her back to life by taking out the bullet and reviving her by starting her heart again

if you're gonna make an argument count, Axeman, at least back it up with FACTS not OPINION

that is what i thought as i was watching it. i thought that the matrix just simulated them leaving but in fact they were still inside and just thought they were normal humans and were running. but neo felt it was different and was able to stop them.

i would of liked to see the whole movie then. because then i wouldnt of thought the movie sucked so bad. because alot still hasnt to be explained in the next movie

4 hours would have been a stupid running time for that kind of movie.

It was a good film, I'll buy it on DVD soon, was definitely worth seeing.

id stay and watch a 5 and a half hour movie as long as it is worth seeing. if it is truly a great film then it shouldnt matter how long it is. look at gone with the wind. very long movie but still great. it was beyond most people on this forum time (i only watched it because my mom always had it on) but it still has the greatest quote in a movie ever. "frankly my dear, i just dont give a damn." if have to see the movie to completly enjoy that quote at the end but it is great.

well wc i think they are since if u think of it they originally had it to be only 2 movies and now 3. so if they do make 3 more id pretty sure theylre milking it for money.

did u also know that the guy who plays tank (the earth brother who lived in the first matrix) wasnt in the second b/c he asked the brothers for a raise in salary for like 10-25 grand, while the major actors got millions more!! that they fired him and edited the script that he died /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif when that really never happened!

the truth is that it did bomb. at the theatres it did terrible. it wasnt until it got on dvd that it took off

hmmmm, there being a matrix within a matrix is an interesting safety catch, but I just assumed that neo didn't take those sentinels out, and that the ship that found them had activated its EMP (after all, they could always detect the sentinels before they could see them).

somebody asked the question about who would win because neo can fly and smith can multiply, well i have something to clear that up in a revolutions trailer:

*warning spoilers*

the clip showed smith flying after Neo, and another clip with the oracle saying that smith was becoming more powerful. (my explaination is that he got some of neo's power, there is a line kinda like that right before the big clone fight in reloaded.)
