Anyone tried it? It is crazy! Any tips or tactics...I was playing with a couple guys and my partner and I had locked ourselves down inside the cage...they managed to place the modem on the outside? Tried to figure out where they put it and I can't!!! I don't think they glitched.

You can right at the edge of the gate opposite the ND133. I never lose as a merc on that. I mean come on 6 mines and one entrance. It's almost impossible.

I have found that if the modem is outside the gate and the gate is closed that it will not sabotage until the gate is opened back up.

I myself like to place the modem up at the corner of the hall, as most mercs don't look that far away for the modem.

I love playing that map and mode though. I find it to be nice and tense.

Not with a locked gate.

Slow moving will not get you past my lazer at your one entrance.

The gate is easy to unlock, and with the time delay between pressing the button and the gate closing it is easy to get in. And your laser mine can be easily chaffed.

The map and mode definetely favors the merc, but it is not impossible to beat. Just takes some good coordination between spies.

I used to think it was easy as a merc on that map. There are spies out there though that excel in taking mercs down face to face regardless of how much power people think the laser on their gun gives them.

i definetly agree with fatman, it is reallllllly easy for mercs to win sabotage at schermerhorn........ i personally played a ranked match like that and easily won

I know there is only one way with the gate down. But if you open the gate, that gives you another 2 ways in.

I guarantee that, one day, you will come across a pair of spies that will make you think twice about how easy it is. it won't be me because I'm no good at it but someone will.

If it was really that one sided, i doubt ubisoft would have made it that way.

A always have me or the other merc watching that button and the other is right there to close it again. Love to see an aggro in a hallway.

You may have one watching the button but what happens when the one watching the button is taken down? Thats one merc out of the way.

Now, door is opened. Where are you standing? 1 spy comes in in the first part of the corridor, 1 spy comes in the corridor where the ND is. Are you by the ND? if so, you're getting smoked and going down. if you charge out to attack the spy, who is helping you stop the spy that came in the other entrance firing a sticky cam down the corridor and knocking you out? Or from even just placing the modem while the other one smokes you out? All he has to do is put it in the corner while you are kept busy. While that is happening, the gate is shut just before dead merc shows up who can't go up to the switch safely because the spy that shut it is on the outside covering it.

Something like this may work, it may not. As I say, i'm no good at it. But never think your plans are foolproof because someone is always waiting to come along with a better way when it comes to something like this.

Since it is sabotage he and his partner will wake up in time to stop it and the spies will likely waste all of their time getting through mines.

No, there will be two awake mercs and the piues can't double jump so they would wake up and find the modem and shoot it even if they die. I also find it hard for the spies to get past when they have all those mines and spytraps to get past.

They can double jump off the ND or from the pole. Thats assuming that in the confusion of smokes, flashes and chaffs you manage to maintaint he discipline to stay within the corridors.
