Now that I think about it, I didn't get a message either. I'm going back through, and I'm at the Great Zero part. I'll keep you posted.

I got the (one screen, pretty boring) ending the first 2 times I played. The third time, I skipped over Prime and just played XP1.

I didn't get the ending at all! Maybe you have to finish prime first.
