Great Movie I really liked it. Was that zzzz sound pack you are using in there?

In fact, I installed ZZZ pack just when I was finishing the movie, so the only sound from his pack is the Su-25 gun. The others are grabbed on the web, mostly on sounddogs.com.

wow that was pretty darn good, mcCallaway
great use of sounds (was thinking of using sound in my newest)
excellent picture quality, and cinematography, you obviously put a lot of effort into this project
i didnt particularly like the music, but thats just me i'd say, and anyways the music suited the action most of the time
i'd also say that it was maybe a bit long, but again thats probably just me
you had some excellent camera angles in there (some of the best)
if i could find anywhere to fault this movie, it would be to say that the action didnt really pull me in as much as some other films, but i cant really say why. it jsut felt a bit 'sterile'
anyway, overall it was a great effort. looking forward to more from you in the future. nice job

Thanks for the serious critics, I really appreciate it. It's always interesting to know what to be careful about for the next job.
But I think I'll take some time to play the game before :P

one must have movie music to please Raven's music taste http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
Excellent movie, can't believe that was your first effort. Was a very nice little touch how you introduced all the stuff, made it really movie-like.
Me digs, hope you keep on making LOMAC movies

I agree, that was a very good movie. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-happy.gif
With all these new movies coming with added sounds, i feel i really have to get something done here.. I can't add extra sounds with Movie Maker, so i have to see if i can afford something like premiere or Vegas http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

Good movie, I especially liked the ending with the calm music and not just ending right after the action.

Glow, look up EditStudio4 if you want a cheap solution. It's not the most user-friendly interface in the world IMO, but the basic package is only 20ukp and would give you access to some quite powerful tools and great support on their forum.
In the end I chose to spend much more on "Vegas Junior" (Screenblast Movie Studio 3) which is much more friendly if you're used to MM2. The only problem is that it can be very hard to buy outside the USA for some reason. The demo's downloadable, but the full version can't be bought online.
Of course ideally we'd be able to pay for an upgrade to MM2, which I still think is a great piece of software, especially for free.
The irony is that since buying Screenblast I've got so cheesed off with jumping through hoops to capture good clips that I've put everything I was working on in the bin! Sometimes life's just too short... well, too short to make movies and fly occasionally. Oh, and play Far Cry till my fingers are sore :-)

It was a good movie. I especially liked the little touches, for instance when you went to the exterior plane or weapon shots. You told what kind of weapon and how many there were. Thats something I'd see in a large screen movie. Like I said that was just one of the nice touches that I'm gonna have to steal for the future........ http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I will redouble my efforts based upon your inspiring and encouraging message. Thanks very much for the show of support.
