Just read about this additional "gadget" in the interview with Ms Doat. What does this do, exactly? Allow the player to make recordings of his missions like in Ghost Recon? Or is it a pure "gameplay" tool, in which case, what is it used for?

Video cam? You mean the Sticky Camera or the Optic Cable?
Or is it used with audio?

No apparently you get a video camera, here is the quote from the producer interview:

<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><font size="-1">quote:</font><HR>Any exceptionally cool new gadgets we should know about?

Doat: Some of the moves that were available in the first game were not widely used, and we were sure that people would want to have the chance master those gadgets again.

Additional gadgets include the recording camera, because some players want to make sure they know what's happening not just visibly but also audibly, so they can use this to gather information, listen to conversations between enemies, and so on.

With the optic cable we wanted to upgrade it by giving the player colour vision, because we realised that some players wanted to use the optic cable before entering every room just to see what they were getting into. So that goes along as a good espionage tool with the camera.

<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>
I'm baffled.

Video = what you see
Audio = what you hear

So it'll be an altered version of the Sticky Cam, I think.
You can hear with it, not see with it.

Sounds like your basic sticky, whisteling gas camera to me.

Thats a diversion camera. i think they mean the microphone thats on your binoculars that allows you to hear from far away.

Hey, anyone thought aqbout the possibility that there is a sticky cam that lets you see and hear?

That makes the most sense by what the producer said.
