Which do you enjoy more and why? Virtigo or Warehouse? Why do you hate the other if you do?
I find that most people who love warehouse don't like virtigo. I here two things a lot. I hear people complain about aggro in warehouse and people complain about how tough it is to be merc on vertigo.
Well, Can anyone tell me HOW do you get through warehouse without being at least a little bit aggro? I don't want to be pure aggro but every time I play warehouse I find myself trying to figure out how to snap that neck or jump on someone. (i hate double jumps when done to me but I must admit that I still use it as a spy.) So to prevent this I want to know how else can you do it?
As for vertigo it is personally my favorite map but I don't have ANY problem as merc. So many people complain about how hard it is as a merc but it's not. I find that a lot of people I play with want to give up the first building all together right in the beginning. While I understand your strategy I think it's nuts. If you do that then the spies have over 9 minutes to double team you for the last one. Or to give the appearance of a double team and draw both mercs while sneaking to the other building. 9 minutes is a little to long. Vertigo is not as hard as people make it. Although I won't tell all my stategy At the very least you could stall the spies and set your traps. After the first nd133 that gets neutralized after PUTTING UP A FIGHT, you let them have THAT building. So now you're still down to defending 2 buildings but at least you've worked more time off the clock. And actually, most times they never get any when I'm playing with some one who is halfway competent and actually listens to me. I usually get down to about 3 or 4 minutes before the FIRST nd133 is neutralized in vertigo with a competent partner. As a matter of fact, any competent people want a partner for vertigo and some other boards friend me, I'll accept.

ps, feel free to add your comments/strategies for your other favorite maps.

IMO all the maps are fun to play IF you are playing with the right people.

Vertigo Plaza and Warehouse are the oppisite as the 2 mercs carnt cover all the terminals at the same time where as (sector 1) in the Warehouse the mercs and c all.

i voted 4 Vertigo Plaza.
tho i like all the maps as they all have a different feel to them.

i want BANK and MALL!

Yes there is no point in giving up a building without a fight. The library is by far the harderst building to guard so what I like to is set up one mine in the library that kills usually 95% of all spies and then go in there and kill the spy if I know for certain no one is in the office. My partner covers the computer center. Also it helps if your good at sniping. Me and my partner can usually get half our kills on sniping alone. And thats without being on top of the bridge near computer center or in office windows. We are still undefeated at extraction there. I remember playing you carmel0. We destroyed you...lol.

destroyed me? Who was my partner. I'm making no excuses but I find extraction much harder against competent mercs than neutrilization and If I had a noob for a partner then... No excuses... I don't remember but I'm always up for another. and yes SNIPING IS KEY! Actually wait I do remember that gamertag ****ty cheese. Yes, not a fun game for me. Not my regular partner or any of my friends for that matter either. And yes, although I do consider myself very good, especially at vertigo, we got owned that match. He wouldn't cooperate. Let's play again. err... together. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

I voted for Vertigo purely becasue I despisew Warehouse with a passion, too much double jumping, though I have to admit, I WILL play warehouse on the extraction mode as this makes for a much faster and more entertaining game.

I still need to learn the Vertigo map fully before I can appreciate it properly http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Yeah to be fair I prefer both Warehouse and Vertigo to be on Extraction. I like both maps, but I suck at Warehouse as a Spy lately and I'm not doing great as a spy.. mabye its just since I don't have a decent partner anymore though.. >.<

Warehouse is very easy on neutralization as a mercenary if you are not cammed. All three sectors require sticky cams and aggro spies.

Like doobus (and a few others, I just didn't read everyone's responses), I prefer the stealth and misdirection approach for spies. Warehouse's closeness makes that very difficult. It also attracts most of the style of players I don't care to play with...Vertigo is usually going to be a fun game for me as those same players tend to avoid that one.

I hate warehouse so much that the only way I would be able to show you is screaming it from a back flipping dirt bike with my hair on fire!
