!S! Co-pilots!
I got the x45 joystick and it works great. There's just one thing I'd like to know about it. I've searched through the calibrations, the software itself, and even through these forums, I'd like to know if it's possible to make the joystick "more sensitive"? I'd like the x45 to have more response to my movements!!I feel like it does not have a lot of precision and precision is important to me! My joystick has a ring with a big spring attached to the handle of the joystick, I've seen pictures that the joystick isn't made like that!
If anyone knows how to adjust the tension I guess or to make it have more precision, please let me know it'll be much appreciated! Thanks! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

You mean smoother movement?

Get yourself a small can of silicone lubricant.

Read the label, and make sure it's safe for rubber and plastic.

Apply to the shaft and the ring, pref. using some fine cloth.
(apply lube to cloth, move stick to one corner, rub cloth on shaft (oh, the innuendo), make sure all angles are covered)

It needs a while to set, when it feels sluggish re-apply.

After a few weeks of playing, and four or five lubes, it's super smooth. (sounds long, I know, but it works)

If you mean more responsive as in rolls faster with the same movement, adjust the curves in Options -> Input -> Axes

That "Options" would be in Lock On I guess... http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif there are quite good options for adjusting your joystick. You can change different axes' response curves quite easily and find the most suitable one for you by testing different curves.
