same way you install but click remove. Also remove 1.1 and reinstall it this fixs must bugs. frieghter may not work, the map is still 1.2 after doing this. If you cant find the old version of the map then just uninstall the whole game and reinstall, which is the best way but the must time consuming.

Double click the 1.2 patch and choose to uninstall it .After this has worked start your farcy disc and choose install ,this will give you the option to repair ,do this and it will be back to version 1.0 .Repatch with 1.1 and its done.

When I try this method, the rolled back version of 1.1 doesnt work, it crashes with some sort of error.
The only way I can do it is to TOTALLY reinstall the game. So i dont bother, 1.1 sucks anyway.
Whatever you decide to do make sure you have a copy of your profile from the far cry folder so you don't lose your saved games incase something goes wrong.
