It is the soldier who serves beneath the flag, who salutes the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who gives the demonstrator the right to burn the flag"...Stephen Ambrose

Its been a while since I've done this, but I'll try to explain what I can remember.

First, open up your computer, and take out your old video card. I believe that the GeForce2 MX400 is an AGP card so it should be located in the brown slot. Take it out of the brown slot.

Second, but in your new card into the now free AGP slot (the brown one).

Third, turn your computer on. Everythings gonna be jacked up. Put in the CD that comes with the card, and follow the given instructions on how to install the drivers.

Hope that helps. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Locate youre old card, Take it out. Put the new one in where the old one was (depending if the card you bought is AGP or PCI but you should know). Make all the connections that are needed.

Turn on youre PC.

If you're card isnt working check you're connections make sure you have it in the right slot (AGP/PCI).

Youre PC should pick up the card and install the drivers (depending on OS). If not install the drivers from the CD/Floopy that came with youre card.

Once its installed Restart then go to the ATI website for the lastest Drivers Install them restart and Enjoy you new Graphics Card.

ATIs cards can be pretty picky about drivers, be sure you completely remove every trace of the nVidia drivers before you install the new ATI drivers.

If you have any questions about your new ATI card I suggest you visit this site: www.rage3d.com (http://www.rage3d.com)
It's the main ATI "fan" site on the net and they have ATI driver developers frequently visiting the forum.

1. earth yourself (touch a radiator or use a static band, this will earth you)

2. uninstall the detonator drivers, then run detonator destroyer ( a free ap) just to make sure all drivers are removed.

3. take out the screw on the bracket thats holding your current card in, pull the card upwards holding firmly with both hands.

4. put the radeon card in the agp socket ( prob the one you just took the geforce out of) its a little smaller than the pci slots on the mboard. there will be a little bit of plastic on the rad card that will show you which way round the card goes (ie it wont go in the wrong way.)

5. dont be afraid really does take a fair push to pop the card in. make sure the card is completely in the ap slot, screw the card onto the case, then cover up the case.

6. turn on power, install the latest catalyst drivers (dont bother with the cd cus they will be out of date by miles).

7. make a cup of tea, and go for a walk enjoying the beautiful sunshine that god has given us.

8. contemplate sky god theory, and decide whether there is a universal power or an actual sky god.

9. write a book on this subject, make approximatly 500,000 pounds in a book deal with penguin publishing.

10. pull a nice girl and knock her up, go for a scan and check the sex of the baby. if it is a boy buy blue if it is a girl buy pink.

11. sign the kid up at an appropriate nursery school, remember you may have to move into a good catchment area to find a good school.

12.go to the toilet, expel your anal waste, this will avoid the colon from getting too full of ****.

13. urinate at the same time.

14. scratch your nose, its itching

15. careful when you cross the road always look left and right.

17. you havent eaten for a while nor drank anything, so make sure you feed yourself with appropriate amounts of nutrition.

18. repeat steps 12 through 13 then repeat steps 17 and 18 for the rest of your life, this will ensure you dont die of starvation or explode internally.

19. breathe in

20 breathe out

21. repeat steps 19 and 20 or you will die.

22. blink, repeat this step until you die.

23. divorce your wife, she is actually a biatch and youve had enough of her. go to court and get weekend access to your children and take them for weekends out with your new partner their future stepmother.

24. take the children to counselling to allow them to accept their stepmother, jealousy will be normal at this time.

25. pay for your kids to go to university, and constantly moan bout how much its costing you.

26. upgrade your computer its about 30 years out of date by now.

27. your children have died in a car crash, goto the funeral and grieve.

28 get suicidal and kill your self by putting two pencils in your nose and slamming your head against a table(this will penetrate the brain causing relatively instant death (and slight pencil marks on your nose.)

29 discover whether or not that book you wrote was worth the ****** paper it was written on.

30 reincarnate repeat steps 1 through 30 for eternity (but obviously you should be getting a more powerful graphics card cus this is about 100 years hence, though im sure the procedure will be relatively the same)
