Me-262 Captured Skin

I have looked all through the Il-2 skins sight and there is no Me-262 done over in a US captured skin paint job. I have a coop where US captured 262's meet up with Russian captured 262's. It's easy to put russian markings on their planes, but you need third party skins for the American planes. Does anyone out there know where to find some?

I'd suggest looking into early P-80 paint schemes.

The early P-80s just had a light grey finish to seal the skin joints. It was quickly replaced by the bare metal look.

From the resources I've seen regarding Watson's Wizzers, they just painted over the Hakenkreuz with the background camo color, and then slapped a US marking over the Balkenkreuz, without first painting over it. No changes to the actual scheme itself. Maybe they just did this until it was shipped over to the US, where it was repainted entirely?

Okay, let me put it this way. Seems we are getting off in the wrong direction. I am looking to see if ANYONE has done a CAPTURED Me-262 skin.!.....not early P-80 skins. Operation Paper Clip....captured German Secret weapons. They were painted in obvious nonmilitary colors and American chevron markings placed on them and prelimanary flight tests done in the ETO before being shiped home. Now, has anyone done one of those?.....And if so where can they be found

Since all they did was slap US markings over the German ones, that's all that has to be done. I don't know of any available right now, but if you have any that are normal German skins, it would only take a minute or two to do it yourself. Just like they did it back then, paint over the tail marking and overlay an American star over the cross. Right?

Alot of times they painted them overall olive drab in the field and put poor stars and bars on them.
