Will this SC give us the ability to create our own mods, new skins, weapons, maps etc?

If not, why not?

No, because it is way too hard to code/build/balance it.
If you want mods, get CS/D3/H-L2.

scworld, no need to be so defensive. It was just a simple question.

I don't care about CS, D3 or HL2. I was asking about SP3..... thnx anyway.

im the kind of person that simply asks what the hell some people are thinking when they need new skins. That sort of thing is boring to me and not sure why is asked. This sort of thing is so petty yet asked for so much....boggles me.

Skin question aside, the level question still remains... why has a level editor for Splinter Cell never been released?! I mean, the level designers must design the levels SOMEHOW... unless they hard-code the levels (i.e. actually write the levels into the game's source code), I don't see what the problem is.
