I am making a Motocross map and need to copy sections of the height map. It's really hard to make a ramp so I want to copy and paste one that I have already made. Thanks

Yes, use "Select Terrain Area" tool to select the terrain, then use "Move Area" from the Terrain RollupBar to paste a copy of the selected terrain.
Another thing you can do is export your heightmap and edit it in PhotoShop(or whatever you like to use), then import it back in.

Cool! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif but I made a mistake can you undo the action of pasting terrain? and is there a way to cut and paste terrain?

Thank so much, I have been asking the question how to copy/paste terrain so many times but never got an answer. This really really rocks... snief http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
Alas in the "Select Terrain Area" tool (Ctrl+2) will not let you expand/descreas a selection via Ctrl+drag and Alt+drag (a +, - is shown as a mouse pointer, but it does not seem to work).
I am also wondering if it is possible to MOVE the selected terrain area (not copy/paste it)? E.g. move a mountain a bit to the right.

Also, Is there a way to make the height brush tool repeat without moving it? Thanks

The best way to make any ramp is to load up your heightmap in photoshop use the gradient tool, white shade being top of your ramp black shade being your ground level. Now just import this back into sandbox 'smoothe' and your done one perfect ramp!
