RESUME
GEORGE W. BUSH
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue
Washington, DC 20520
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Law Enforcement:
I was arrested in Kennebunkport, Maine, in 1976 for
driving under the influence of alcohol. I pled
guilty, paid a fine, and had my driver's license
suspended for 30 days. My Texas driving record has
been "lost" and is not available.
Military:
I joined the Texas Air National Guard and went AWOL. I
refused to take a drug test or answer any questions
about my drug use. By joining the Texas Air
National Guard, I was able to avoid combat duty in
Vietnam.
College:
I graduated from Yale University with a low C average.
I was a cheerleader.
PAST WORK EXPERIENCE:
I ran for U.S. Congress and lost. I began my career in
the oil business in Midland,Texas, in 1975.
I bought an oil company, but couldn't find any oil in
Texas. The company went bankrupt shortly after I sold
all my stock. I bought the Texas Rangers baseball team
in a sweetheart deal that took land using taxpayer
money.
With the help of my father and our friends in the oil
industry(including Enron CEO Ken Lay), I was elected
governor of Texas.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS GOVERNOR OF TEXAS
I changed Texas pollution laws to favor power and oil
companies, making Texas the most polluted state in the
Union. During my tenure, Houston replaced Los
Angeles as the most smog-ridden city in America.
I cut taxes and bankrupted the Texas treasury to the
tune of billions in borrowed money.
I set the record for the most executions by any
governor in American history.
With the help of my brother, the governor of Florida,
and my father's appointments to the Supreme Court, I
became President after losing by over 500,000 votes.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS PRESIDENT:
I am the first President in U.S. history to enter
office with a criminal record.
I invaded and occupied two countries at a continuing
cost of over one billion dollars per week.
I spent the U.S. surplus and effectively bankrupted
the U.S. Treasury.
I shattered the record for the largest annual deficit
in U.S. history.
I set an economic record for most private bankruptcies
filed in any 12-month period.
I set the all-time record for most foreclosures in a
12-month period.
I set the all-time record for the biggest drop in the
history of the U.S.stock market. In my first year in
office, over 2 million Americans lost
their jobs and that trend continues every month.
I'm proud that the members of my cabinet are the
richest of any administration in U.S. history. My
"poorest millionaire," Condoleeza Rice,
has a Chevron oil tanker named after her.
I set the record for most campaign fundraising trips
by a U.S.President.
I am the all-time U.S. and world record-holder for
receiving the most corporate campaign donations.
My largest lifetime campaign contributor, and one of
my best friends,Kenneth Lay, presided over the largest
corporate bankruptcy fraud in U.S.History,
Enron.
My political party used Enron private jets and
corporate attorneys to
assure my success with the U.S. Supreme Court during
my election decision. I have protected my friends at
Enron and Halliburton against investigation
or prosecution.
More time and money was spent investigating the Monica
Lewinsky affair than has been spent investigating one
of the biggest corporate rip-offs in history.
I presided over the biggest energy crisis in U.S.
history and refused to intervene when corruption
involving the oil industry was revealed. I
presided over the highest gasoline prices in U.S.
history. I changed the U.S. policy to allow convicted
criminals to be awarded government contracts.
I appointed more convicted criminals to administration
than any President in U.S. history.
I created the Ministry of Homeland Security, the
largest bureaucracy in
the history of the United States government.
I've broken more international treaties than any
President in U.S. history.
I am the first President in U.S. history to have the
United Nations
remove the U.S. from the Human Rights Commission.
I withdrew the U.S. from the World Court of Law.
I refused to allow inspector's access to U.S.
"prisoners of war"
detainees and thereby have refused to abide by the
Geneva Convention.
I am the first President in history to refuse United
Nations election
inspectors (during the 2002 U.S. election).
I set the record for fewest numbers of press
conferences of any President since the advent of
television.
I set the all-time record for most days on vacation in
any one-year period.
After taking off the entire month of August, I
presided over the worst security failure in U.S.
history.
I garnered the most sympathy for the U.S. after the
World Trade Center attacks and less than a year later
made the U.S. the most hated country in the
world, the largest failure of diplomacy in world
history.
I have set the all-time record for most people
worldwide to simultaneously protest me in public venues
(15 million people), shattering the record
for protests against any person in the history of
mankind.
I am the first President in U.S. history to order an
unprovoked,pre-emptive attack and the military
occupation of a sovereign nation. I did so
against the will of the United Nations, the majority
of U.S. citizens, and the world community.
I have cut health care benefits for war veterans and
support a cut in duty benefits for active duty troops
and their families -- in wartime.
In my State of the Union Address, I lied about our
reasons for attacking Iraq and then blamed the lies on
our British friends.
I am the first President in history to have a majority
of Europeans (71%) view my presidency as the biggest
threat to world peace and security.
I am supporting development of a nuclear "Tactical
Bunker Buster," a WMD.
I have so far failed to fulfill my pledge to bring
Osama Bin Laden [sic] to justice.

Maybe so , but he has also brought the value of the Canadian dollar to it's highest point on .... a long time . { I don't know how long but I'm guessing close on 30 years } Just think of all the tourism the States would be getting right now if it were not for the fact that Canadians are afriad that if they do get across the border , they willn't get back .
BTW I didn't know the Goerge was a cheerleader .

And while this "resume" is amusing, it is also neither wholly accurate or written by someone who has any interest other than attacking the President. Partisan politics are a waste of time and money.

Hey now, there is nothing wrong with being a male cheerleader! If you think about it, it's really a pretty sweet deal for a straight guy - after all, just remember where he'll be putting his hands while the spectators are freezing their butts off in the stands. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

lol , I know there are male cheerleaders { that don't use pom-poms }. It is just the thought of Bush in a .... or Bush walking and chewing gum at the same time for that matter . http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif lol
Thing is , I think everyone knows that it was written as a joke ... only there is enough truth to make it scary .

Just remember that the male cheerleaders have far warmer hands than you do when you're sitting in the bleachers. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
I would hope that people know that this is a joke, but sadly there are enough people out there who aren't very objective or informed. Unfortunately some of them are high eleceted officials, but... http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Two days after the Democrats Primary in my state Bush was here giving a speech. Purely a political move. He obviously was trying to steal the spotlight from the Democrats. His grandstanding was a dumb move though and will probably hurt him more than help him. We ain't stupid, and we resent that he thinks we are and can get away with a stunt like that. Once again he talked about why we had to go to Iraq and why we should stay there. Who's he trying to convince, himself? The more he runs his mouth about it, the more idiotic he looks.
"Methinks he doth protest too much"
The harder he tries to convince us, the more suspicious we get. Maybe one night when Cheney is putting Bush to bed he should read to him the fable about the boy who cried wolf.

Of course one must respond...
Let's see:
We fought a war in Serbia, Bosnia-Herzigovina, Kosovo, Montenegro for... the WMD's, the oil, the terrorist threat, etc? Which one?
Could 9/11 and all the aftermath have been prevented? Perhaps... if the previous president had been competent in military matters and used bombers on a certain valley in Afghanistan instead of using cruise missiles.
Would the economy have gotten this bad if the previous president & company not raised interest rates at least six times in one year starting in 1998? Probably not.

I know my memory isn't the best, but I don't remember hearing that the terrorists in the two planes that hit the Twin Towers were from Iraq. I seem to remember those people being from Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia starts with an "I"? Oh, wait, those people weren't reported to have WMDs at the time, guess that explains things.

Iraq is one of the big oil reserves in that area. Probably second to Saudi's oil reserve.
If all folks really believed this to be a joke it would be funny. There are some that believe this to be all true. I have marked some parts that I know are wrong, lies, political, or otherwise not true.
I tried to stay off this thread but it is now time to present the other side of the story.

RESUME
GEORGE W. BUSH
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue
Washington, DC 20520
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Law Enforcement:
I was arrested in Kennebunkport, Maine, in 1976 for driving under the influence of alcohol. I pled guilty, paid a fine, and had my driver's license suspended for 30 days. My Texas driving record has been "lost" and is not available.
Military:
I joined the Texas Air National Guard and went AWOL. I refused to take a drug test or answer any questions about my drug use. By joining the Texas Air National Guard, I was able to avoid combat duty in vietnam.
***Humourous but a lie. Bush fulfilled his ANG obligation and recieved a honorable separation. The records are public.
College:
I graduated from Yale University with a low C average. I was a cheerleader.
PAST WORK EXPERIENCE:
I ran for U.S. Congress and lost. I began my career in the oil business in Midland,Texas, in 1975.
I bought an oil company, but couldn't find any oil in Texas. The company went bankrupt shortly after I sold all my stock. I bought the Texas Rangers baseball team in a sweetheart deal that took land using taxpayer money.
***All sports teams do this regardless of political party.
With the help of my father and our friends in the oil industry(including Enron CEO Ken Lay), I was elected governor of Texas.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS GOVERNOR OF TEXAS
I changed Texas pollution laws to favor power and oil companies, making Texas the most polluted state in the Union. During my tenure, Houston replaced Los Angeles as the most smog-ridden city in America.
I cut taxes and bankrupted the Texas treasury to the tune of billions in borrowed money.
I set the record for the most executions by any governor in American history.
***More governors should enforce the laws.
With the help of my brother, the governor of Florida, and my father's appointments to the Supreme Court, I became President after losing by over 500,000 votes.
***This is a real twist of the facts. In the US you win by electoral college votes, not the popular votes. Your vote selects the electoral college delegates.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS PRESIDENT:
I am the first President in U.S. history to enter office with a criminal record.
I invaded and occupied two countries at a continuing cost of over one billion dollars per week.
***And the savings of over 10,000 lives murdered each year by the criminals running these governments.
***The previous administration also inserted our troops in Bosnia/Kosovo area and we still have troops there along with the expenses.
I spent the U.S. surplus and effectively bankrupted the U.S. Treasury.
***The economy was falling apart in the 1999 and 2000 years of the previous administration. There was never a surplus of billions that became a deficit of billions the day after inaugeration. Surplus and deficit are projections, not reality.
I shattered the record for the largest annual deficit in U.S. history.
***Unfortunately true but until you can stop the congress of both sides from wasting money on pork and other unecessary spending it will continue.
I set an economic record for most private bankruptcies filed in any 12-month period.
***Problems left over from the previous administration.
I set the all-time record for most foreclosures in a 12-month period.
I set the all-time record for the biggest drop in the history of the U.S.stock market. In my first year in office, over 2 million Americans lost their jobs and that trend continues every month.
***Again, the stock market started failing in 1999 and really went bad in 2000. The continued failure of the market and loss of jobs started in the previous administration and since then jobs are slowly being created by the improved economy.
I'm proud that the members of my cabinet are the richest of any administration in U.S. history. My "poorest millionaire," Condoleeza Rice, has a Chevron oil tanker named after her.
I set the record for most campaign fundraising trips by a U.S.President.
I am the all-time U.S. and world record-holder for receiving the most corporate campaign donations.
My largest lifetime campaign contributor, and one of my best friends,Kenneth Lay, presided over the largest corporate bankruptcy fraud in U.S.History,
Enron.
My political party used Enron private jets and corporate attorneys to assure my success with the U.S. Supreme Court during my election decision.
I have protected my friends at Enron and Halliburton against investigation or prosecution.
***This statement is false. These folks have been or are being taken through the courts.
More time and money was spent investigating the Monica Lewinsky affair than has been spent investigating one of the biggest corporate rip-offs in history.
I presided over the biggest energy crisis in U.S. history and refused to intervene when corruption
involving the oil industry was revealed.
I presided over the highest gasoline prices in U.S. history. I changed the U.S. policy to allow convicted criminals to be awarded government contracts.
I appointed more convicted criminals to administration than any President in U.S. history.
I created the Ministry of Homeland Security, the largest bureaucracy in the history of the United States government.
I've broken more international treaties than any President in U.S. history.
I am the first President in U.S. history to have the United Nations remove the U.S. from the Human Rights Commission.
I withdrew the U.S. from the World Court of Law.
I refused to allow inspector's access to U.S. "prisoners of war" detainees and thereby have refused to abide by the Geneva Convention.
I am the first President in history to refuse United Nations election inspectors (during the 2002 U.S. election).
I set the record for fewest numbers of press conferences of any President since the advent of
television.
I set the all-time record for most days on vacation in any one-year period.
After taking off the entire month of August, I presided over the worst security failure in U.S.
history.
I garnered the most sympathy for the U.S. after the World Trade Center attacks and less than a year later made the U.S. the most hated country in the world, the largest failure of diplomacy in world history.
***This is an exaggeration. The folks that 'hate' us are the ones that were making the most money by taking Iraq oil for profit. We went through the entire UN routine, got a 100% vote to stop Iraq, then certain european countries changed their minds when they found the US was serious and they were going to lose lots of money they were stealing from Iraq.
I have set the all-time record for most people worldwide to simultaneously protest me in public venues (15 million people), shattering the record for protests against any person in the history of
mankind.
I am the first President in U.S. history to order an unprovoked, pre-emptive attack and the military occupation of a sovereign nation. I did so against the will of the United Nations, the majority of U.S. citizens, and the world community.
***Not true, see above about UN efforts. The majority of US citizens supported the effort. The world community only wants our money and troops after they have messed up their situation and don't know how to dig their way out.
I have cut health care benefits for war veterans and support a cut in duty benefits for active duty troops and their families -- in wartime.
***This is also a lie. The veterans budget has been increased. The twist of the facts is that the increase was only half of what was asked for. This is not a cut.
In my State of the Union Address, I lied about our reasons for attacking Iraq and then blamed the lies on our British friends.
***Not a true statement.
I am the first President in history to have a majority of Europeans (71%) view my presidency as the biggest threat to world peace and security.
***Maybe so, but Clinton and Bush both have commited troops to europe and other areas for the safety and security of europe and the middle east. If the folks over in that part of the world consider us a threat - maybe the US should just pull our troops, money, and support for the UN.
I am supporting development of a nuclear "Tactical Bunker Buster," a WMD.
***It is a big bomb but I don't think it quite makes WMD.
I have so far failed to fulfill my pledge to bring Osama Bin Laden [sic] to justice.
***This is true. We have thousands of US troops in Afghanistan working on that problem. I don't see how any of the other parties involved could do better.

Actually Homer, there is a substantial concern regarding Saudi Arabia and WMD's. The Saudis are on record (as are the Egyptians - the largest beneficiary of US foreign aid) as saying that they are highly interested in pursuing a nuclear weapons programme and they will not hesitate to do so. They don't really have the capital to buy anything, but many nations seem more than willing to continue to honor their credit even though they are broke. Considering the volatility of that country and how vituperative their anti-western rehtoric has become, this is a serious concern.

I don't question the need of concern, I question the US being the police force for the entire world, and believing that's what others in the world also want.
The US government can call their actions anything they want, and do, but unless they are specifically asked to do so the US should not enter any country unless that country poses an immediate provable threat.
The US went into Iraq and Afghanistan using the attack on the Twin Towers as the reason, chasing terrorists. Why only after the hits on the towers did the US act, when they knew all that was going on in those two countries? Could it be the attack was just what the US needed as an excuse to go into those countries, one that a majority of the world would agree with?

OP-ED COLUMNIST
Kerry's Special Friends
By DAVID BROOKS
John Kerry has been railing against the special interests, and I don't
think that's very nice because it implies that some people's interests
are not so special. I like to think that everybody's interests are
special in their own way.
What's more, I think Kerry knows this, because if you look over his long
career, you see that he loves all our interests, big and small, near or
far. For example, a Chinese businesswoman named Liu Chaoying dreamed of
having her company listed on a U.S. stock exchange. That's certainly a
special dream.
Maybe as a little girl she would come home from school, gather up her
little dollies and tell them about her dream of ringing the bell to
start the trading day, or of having little Lucite tombstones on her desk
to mark her mergers and acquisitions. Maybe some of the other little
girls in school told her she'd never have a company on a U.S. exchange,
because you know how cruel little kids can be.
But she had an interest, and to her it was the most specialest interest
in the world. And she kept at it. And that cute little girl grew up to
become a lieutenant colonel in China's People's Liberation Army, which
is a very special army, even measured against the armies of other human
rights-violating dictatorships. And what's more, she had a $300,000 bank
account with funds supplied by the head of Chinese intelligence, which
is certainly quite special indeed.
And Liu came to America in search of her dream, for this is the nation
of dreams. And she went to see a most special man named Johnny Chung.
And in July 1996, according to Newsweek, Chung took Liu to see his
special friend John Kerry about her dream, and Kerry recognized its
specialness. So his aides faxed over a letter to the S.E.C. about the
dream, and the very next day Liu and Chung had a private briefing with a
senior S.E.C. official about making her special dream come true.
And then a few weeks after that, Johnny Chung threw a fund-raiser for
John Kerry in Beverly Hills. And John Kerry came away with $10,000 in
contributions, and I like to think they were very special contributions.
I like to think they were written on special designer checks, maybe with
rainbows or kittens or Chinese long-range missile designs shaded on the
back, because special dreams deserve special checks, and when a man as
special as John Kerry takes up an interest, I think that makes it a
special interest all by itself.
Liu Chaoying's interest was not the only interest John Kerry took a
special interest in. According to The Associated Press, Kerry took a
special interest in the insurance giant American International Group.
When Senator John McCain proposed legislation that would have ended a
federal contracting loophole benefiting A.I.G., Kerry did not look away,
as others might have done. A loophole may not seem like much to you and
me, but to A.I.G. it was a very special loophole, the cuddly kind of
loophole you can hold under the blankets and tell your secrets to late
at night. And according to The A.P., John Kerry preserved the little
loophole. And by sheer coincidence, A.I.G. donated $30,000 to help start
Kerry's presidential campaign.
While sitting on the commerce and finance committees, John Kerry has
seen many interests, and you could forgive him if he didn't think they
were all special. But Kerry has raised more money from Washington
lobbyists than any other senator. He's raised over $30 million over the
past nine years, and you just ask the folks in the telecom industry if
he doesn't make them feel special.
You just ask David Paul, one of the big figures in the savings and loan
scandal, if Kerry didn't make him feel special. You just ask the
high-tech executive Bob Majumder how special Kerry made him feel, at
least until Majumder was charged with 40 counts of conspiracy, witness
tampering, fraud, tax evasion and illegal campaign contributions. You
just ask the law firms, the brokerage houses, the oil companies, the
H.M.O.'s and the drug companies, which have donated tens of thousands of
dollars to Kerry.
Oh, he sometimes pretends that he doesn't care about our special
interests. He puts on that callous populist facade. But deep down he
cares. Maybe he cares too much. When he's out on the stump saying
otherwise, he's just being a big old phony.

Life's tuff when you are a "misunderstood ferret"
The opposite to your comments is that these terrorist do not announce their attacks. They do not call it a military type war. They just blow up innocent women and children, including those from Australia. Never a declaration of war, just big explosions. Having diplomates and hotels and government buildings being attacked in foreign countries does not require a declaration of war for retaliation to take place.
In 1998 the US president and it's congress declared Iraq to be a dangerous place and should be removed. (Not exact words) Then after the twin towers area was destroyed the US president and it's congress 'did declare war against terrorism' and all countries that support terrorism.

SBob: Do you honestly believe in your heart that Unites States, which by thier own definition has "Searchers" everywhere, yea into the unlimited space...did not KNOW about the planes that crashed into the Towers? You think that no radar picked up these planes before they reached their designation? ANYWHERE?
See, I believe that this country knew all about it, help promote it and stood by while innocent victums died to promote the Agenda by World Government...yes l984 has been in full swing for quite a while now...Bush does what he is told or...the same thing that befell John Kennedy, his brother and Martin Luther King would happen to him...yes, our government killed them..is there any doubt? Even Now?
Yet, people this country is more then the wicked, sick leaders...it is the people with their hopes, and love of life and a spirit that the Agenda will not ever crush, even with their Matrix of Lies. For that is the True Matrix, generated by the Illusions of Thyme, and controlled by who sits on the Apex of the False Pyramid..the illuminiti.

JoJo, you do realize how paranoid and delusional that sounds do you not?
Regarding radar - civilian radar these days works rather differently than most civilians think. It is designed to pick on transponder signals from the transponder carried aboard all aircraft rather than the older and more stereotypical system of "skin painting." Turn off or alter than transponder code, and the that plane has for all intents and purposes vanished from the majority of civilian radar systems. We generally do not use military radars inside our own borders since there has not been any need to do so for quite some time.
So no, the planes were not necessarily on radar. Even if those planes had been tracked all of the way in (and I think that they were), it wouldn't have made much difference. There were no planes flying BARCAP that day, nor any reason why there should have been. Nor did we have any AAA systems in place at that time. We're also rather hesitant to shoot down civilian airliners under any circumstances - particularly our own and particularly over populated areas.
Yes, I do believe that the 9/11 terrorist attacks were unprovoked attacks on the US from a group of murderers who want the entier world to either accept their particularly repressive form of violent Islam or die.

This started off as kinda funny ... and everyone gets all serious . http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif Well ...
I do believe that there is a real danger of unprovoked attacks by a group of murderers who want the entier world to either accept their particularly repressive form of violent so-called democracy or die . After all , it is better to be dead then red , which was the reason the guy was in power to begin with , wasn't it ? http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif
But not to worry . The " evil empire " is dieing . Yes it is . It has cancer and is dieing from within . It can't even feed it's self anymore . The whole world doesn't have the resourses to feed it . Of course it may take awhile for it to die . Chances are it will out last me and everyone of us here . But Nature will takes it's course . http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

Hard for many to find any humor in this topic. Lots of things that I'm worried about as a US citizen. We were attacked. And that threat still hangs over our heads like the sword of Damocles. Fear has been fanned and whipped up by the media and the warring political parties. And, in typical American fashion we (the people) are inundated by mass media with nightmare scenarios concerning the "NEXT" attack, which will be worse (nuclear, biological, chemical, pick-your-poison.) Sometimes I wonder if the TERRORISTS aren't already winning.
All in all, I think Americans (do not read "US Government") are slowly starting to get a grip back on reality and are learning to live with the knowledge and the threat. That is why there is so much political contortions going on in the US right now.
Regardless of my opinion, I also think a lot of Americans put their trust in the political system, the President and his decisions. For many people, there is, after all, some comfort thinking that he is in charge and he and the system are doing their best. Although I personally have a lot of reservations in that regard (and by no means enamored of the current adminstration), I respect the opinions and beliefs of others.
The rhetoric is getting a little tiring. No more "In your face" political sniping.
I think the "President" bashing should be minimized in this forum. It only invites discord and partisanship and tends to piss people off. There are whole forums and chatrooms dedicated to that kind of discourse. If that's what you want, go find it there.

Why yes, I am aware of the fact that apparently a reasoned and measured response that does not depend on wild conspiracy theories does sound "naive" to some people. I am also aware of the fact that there are scores of people who prefer to blame entities or groups that they perceive as powerful for all of the ills under the sun rather than actually deal with those problems.
Neither one is particularly relevant, particularly since you seem so set on not only indicting the US, but then assailing those who disagree with you. If you had a shred of relevant evidence to back up your position that might be useful, instead of posting conspiracy theories that are as valid as those being spread in Saudi newspapers blaming the Jews.

Your inability or unwillingness to make distinctions between the two has been a problem in the past and unfortunately appears to still be a problem. You were not personally insulted, and your response is quite disproportionate and unreasonable.
Telling a person to leave who disagrees with you is particularly immature, particularly after you are given a response to refute part of your supposition. What happened to the Twin Towers was incoceivable, at one time, and is not something that is being looked for. If this is going to be the guage for imminent threat then it isn't the same one I grew up with.
Born not too many years after WWII, real young during Korea, remember the Berlin wall going up--after it was just barbed wire, Cubian missle crisis, then Viet Nam. Those to me are imminent threats, especially nukes in Cuba.
If what's happening in Iraq and the surrounding areas is such an imminent threat, why isn't more of the world involved with putting a stop to it? Why are others in the world so caught up in their own problems that they can't see what a terrible threat it is?
I think the world needs to adopt the attitude of the Alien in The Day The Earth Stood Still.

I wasn't being insulting then and I'm not being insulting now. Your inability to separate yourself from your posts is something that you still need to deal with. Your choosing to take offense rather than actually say anything substantive - such as actually providing any shred of evidence.
The question you ask here would seem to indicate that you either did not read my post or if you did read it that you did no understand it. You posted what amounts to a conspiracy theory - the same type of conspiracy theory that one can read in the Arab press or in Neo-Nazi "newsletters." The example I used was one that has been talked about a number of times in the US and has nothing to do with bringing a religious belief into it - I was giving you credit for being relatively informed about such things. Your response would seem to indicate that you are not aware or that you are trying to find a way out of actually backing up your conspiacy theory.
Now do you actually have any evidence that supports what you posted? Because so far you have chosen to try and make this a personal issue, which it is not. I have no feelings towards you one way or the other, and was interested in seeing any actual evidence that you had. Since you appear to have none, I maintain that your original statement indicting the US for complicity in the 9/11 terror attacks sounds both paranoid and delusional - as do many articles in the Saudi press for example. You seem to be beginning with an ideology rather than evidence. Is that in fact that case?

I believe that I heard some short time after the attacks that the US Government had in fact been warned. Just to be fair though I think they were warned of about 2000+ other attacks as well and that was probably another ploy by a cunning and dangerous (wish I could spell!) group of people that new the backlash it would cause. Letting the US know what you were going to do buried in a mountain of usless information then tell the media that you warned the US.
Or maybe not... You are right Geist I have no proof and it is all supposition but hey Jojo it is a public forum and I should be able to come here and share my opinion right?

Jojo, you have made ad hominem arguments and not addressed any actual issues. You commented first about RADAR, and I explained to you how it works. Then you respond by continuing to attack me and not say anything substantive. We're not "talking" now because you appear to have a completely closed mind that does not seem to think that actual facts are relevant based on the fact that you have chosen to attack me rather than actually engage in discussion.
I have made nothing personal, but you have chosen to make highly erroneous judgements that you are neither capable of nor qualified to make of my person. If you actually have "truth," than share it and let people decide what they can and can't handle. That's not your call to make. Of course, your "truth" will require a basis in fact - something you seem to be unable to provide.
Sky, of course you are as entitled to your opinion as everyone else and I have never said or implied otherwise. We also know from evidence such as the Phoenix memoe that there were numerous warnings of "somthing" that involved Islamist terrorists and airplanes and god only know what else. So you do have proof.

Here's some proof, kinda, sorta, maybe:
A couple of months before 9/11 the Federal government all of a sudden starting locking down military bases and enforcing tighter security at Federal buildings. The standard answer to why this was so was that this was just SOP, something that should have been done long ago, no need to worry, everything is all right. In other words they tried to hard to tell us that it was no big deal. Well, it was a big deal. At least around here. Here, in Columbia, SC we have Ft. Jackson. It is pretty much in the center of Columbia and is actaully considered part of Columbia. Residents have always cut thru the base to get from one side of town to the other for years with no problem or security checks as long as they stick to the main roads that run from gate to gate. All of a sudden all gayes were locked and barricaded except for the two main ones, and they were actually staffed with guards, never had been before. These guards were/are in full combat kit. M-16s with grenade launcher attached, loaded down combat harness (grenades, spare clips. gas mask, etc.) with a bio-suit close at hand. A nice peaceful, friendly military base had suddenly been transformed into a base that appeared to be in the middle of a warzone instead of a nice American city. Again this was at least two months before 9/11. The atmosphere on the base was tense and apprehensive, like everyone was holding their breath waiting on something. I know all this because I was working on the base at the time installing computer and phone cables in some new barracks. They weren't replacement barracks either, they were anticipating an increase in personnel and recruits. At the time I couldn't figure that out because for the last few years the military had been downsizing. Now, all of a sudden, without warning, they were expecting an increase in the number of troops. Every morning when I arrived at the bases gates I hafd to go thru a full vehichle search. While my work truck was being searched my papers and background was being researched. Every morning by the same guards. Again, this was two months before 9/11.
Also, in that time frame, I did some work in the Federal building downtown. In the past the place was just patrolled by a couple of rent-a-cops. At the same time as the fort being locked down the rent-a-cops were replaced by a platoon of Marines, again in full combat kit. And I had to go theu the same intense searched and researched routine to gain entrance when I to go do some phone work in the building a couple of times. And again, this was about two months before 9/11.
So don't sit there and lie to me telling me that the government knew nothing. I KNOW from my own personal observations that the government knew something big was coming and they choose to keep it to themselves and lie about it to us. Could 9/11 have been prevented? Maybe, maybe not. But the government could have done more to protect us citizens but instead they cose to protect themselves and leave us in the dark. Draw your own conclusions as to why they did so.

According to un named sources (aren't they great http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif)a large number of body bags were ordered and deposited in the basement of the Twin Towers A WEEK BEFORE 9-11..chew on that for a while.

There is nothing there to chew on. Ordering body bags happens fairly regularly and they are usually ordered in bulk (I asked an ME about this the first time someone mentioned this bit), so there is nothing suspicious about that.
I have no idea what alleged agency (and citing "unnamed sources" without further context does not lend any credence - it ratehr detracts from it) placed the order or why they would be in the twin towers, particularly since they were about to be destroyed. If the government knew that they towers were going to be destroyed, there would be no point to storing body bags in those same towers.
So that's your evidence? An unnamed, uncited source that body bags were ordered and supposedly stored in a building that was already a well known terrorist target?

I have to go with Geist on this one jojo. Why store something that is going to be needed in a building that is about to be destroyed? No sense or logic there. Actually no, I didn't forget those words since there was no need to use them. Terrorists have targetted the twin towers before and they were a very visible symbol to them, particularly since the terrorists identified the buildings with the government and Jews - two of their main targets.
You haven't yet shown that body bags existed or were stored there, so any reasons would be superfluous until you have some proof of this.

So you are equating undisclosed sources - which may very well be wholly ficticious and exist solely in the mind of the author - with God? This analogy does not work. Unless of course you're willing to admit that it is a binary equation - either the sources exist or they do not. If they do exist, then they may actually have proof - so where is this proof?
Unless of course your undisclosed sources/God analogy is simply your way of saying that you have no evidence whatsoever.

If you intended to say that it was a "mute point," then it did not need to be said since that implies that it is lacking in voice and therefore irrelevant.
Your words were not taken out of context, but rather directly in context. Whether or not you are honored by making a statement that is paranoid and delusion is purely up to you. However, you should learn how to differentiate between a comment about an individual and a comment about an individuals actions, thoughts or statements.
More to the point Jojo, it would appear that there is nothing that you can prove - so "won't" becomes moot point and little more than an apparent excuse to cover a lack of ability. You've offered supposition and indicated a very clear dislike of the US government. That's nice, and that's your right to do so. But you have failed to offer anything even resembling a cogent argument, much less evidence to support your position.
I have said nothing that is not true nor have I offered speculations as truth. Your attempt to paint me as narrow or close minded is both inaccurate and amusing since I have done nothing but offer you chances to make your case, chances that you have chosen to forgo in favor of ad hominem comments.
What I would like is for you to actually make a valid point and back it up. To date you have not done so about either the topic here or my own person. So by all means, please feel free to remain "mute" and not embarass yourself further.

Amusing as you last post was, it says as much as you do - which is precisely nothing. There has been no "crossing of swords" here since there has been no engagement - you have constantly retreated due to your inability to make a cogent argument that is grounded in facts.
There's really nothing here to ponder, but if it makes you happy to think that there is, by all means please continue to do so.

This reminds me of the Disney programs talking about the big horn sheep of Colorado. They keep butting heads until one has had enough.

No, never saw that one. Actually, I seldom get the chance to see much in the way of movies. Bought 3 used DVD's about 4 months ago and have watched only 2 of them http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif. Mel has done some very good movies. Only saw Julia in one on tv, Speed. I prefer artsy type films like: Koyanisqatsi, Powaqatsi, Baraka, etc. Also wierd alien movies, and historical and technical documentaries.

Kis: David Icke (pronouced Ike like in Dead Pres Einsenhower's first name) is British. Is one of the most controversal speakers in the world and has published something like 8-10 books on the subject. He has a web site...but be forwarned...there is nothing that is sacred to him about World Politics, Governments, Religions and International Bankers. And he has some views that might just "blow your mind", maybe not. Whatever. If you visit, & then read some of his books I guarantee you won't ever think quite the same way again.
..and yes, I have his collection of books. They are really something else, that most people would not agree with...for he is REALCONTROVERSAL
