Need help for my movie

Hi all, this is my 1st attemt into the relm of lomac movie making.

I am using Vegas 5.0, great editing tool. But using the ingame converter takes too long. Are there any good AVI converters out there, i have looked and just would like to know the best one.

Another ? is how do u get that info bar out of the botoom of the picture when yur in external view, it bugs me to see it in the scenes i edit.

Appreciate any tips that you can give on any topic regarding movie making, after all i am a noob at this, lol.

Press "Y" key twice to get rid of the bar at the bottom.

Also, use FRAPS as the recording tool. #1 program for recording in games, www.fraps.com (http://www.fraps.com)

Your files will be HUGE, however, once you load them up in vegas, edit them, and save it to your HD, depending on length of movie. It will only be 5-50mb or so.
