If I'm so touchy, I'm not sure I should tell you how I did the <font color = #FF0000>colour</font color = #FF0000>...

It's all done with HTML coding... You just need to know the HTML code for the colour you want. Click "reply" and you'll see the text I entered to do it. Then just change the code to get different <font color = #336699>colours</font color = #336699>. Nice huh?

I see...

btw...working on my map and I have a Q. I've set a path for a truck with soldiers.

The truck starts and follows the path. At the destination the soldiers have to get out (Exit vehicle) and defend a zone (Add zone - Defend zone).

The problem is...the will not exit... /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif So they just sit there...

If I wanted to be picky, I'd point out that there's not actually a question anywhere in there... They're all statements of fact!

But I'm not feeling that nasty! How have you set up the plans? The plan for the truck should have the path and the unload vehicle, and then the team should have a plan that says add zone and defend zone. If you put the unload vehicle command into the team's plan, it won't work. If you put the add zone and defend zone commands into the truck's plan, the team won't do these things. Do you understand what I mean? So basically, check that you have a plan created for both the truck <font color = #FFFF00>and</font color = #FFFF00> the team. If you have, then maybe tell me what commands you have in those plans, and in what order... /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

What is the difference in Exit Vehicle and Unload Vehicle?

As far as I remember, they're both commands in Igor, aren't they? They both cause a team to get out of a vehicle, but the difference is that one goes in the team's plan (exit), the other goes in the vehicle's (unload). Which one you use depends on the circumstances at the time.

If you want a vehicle to do something, then have guys run out of it, add unload vehicle to the vehicle's plan. If you want to make the team jump out of a vehicle in a trigger plan, the first command to give them in that trigger plan is eixit vehicle, then in the scripting, go ExecutePlanTeam to assign that trigger plan to a particuar team. You'd normally use the Unload Vehicle command, rather than Exit Vehicle.

Did that make sense? Coz it only just about makes sense to me, and I know what I meant, so you might well struggle to get what the *(&$⣠I was talking about! /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Unload unloads the truck but driver stays, then exit and he's out too.

Only exit ? only driver out ? can't remember !
