in devmode, i can type \record anyfile and the demo will start recording, Then I type \stoprecording and the demo will save a filename called anyfile.tmd.

Thing is - its a TMD file - cant view it in any video players. Anyone know what a TMD file is and how to view it?

www.tmd-moviez.com (http://www.tmd-moviez.com) should have a player

It's a time demo, it can only be viewed with the game engine, there should be a console command to load one.

So don't approch me, I won't approch you,
And don't insult me, I won't insult you,
Because you don't know what I will and won't do.

So you don't think its something that can be played back with a media player of some kind? That is can only be played back from within FarCry itself?

It's a timedemo. It only can be viewed/played in farcry. At the moment, the game don't write any data in the tmd file, so it doesnt work at the moment.

Thanks TheCounter. Do you have any idea what the internal command is to play back the movies i.e. /record and /stoprecording take care of recording. What plays the timedemo back?

Question, will the settings stay the same in time demo? Like if I play with low settings and switch to high ones will it play in HIGH mode? Just wondering. Hell, I'll try it and come back.
