Hello I'd like to introuduce National Crisis, a modification origionally for Half Life 2, which is now about to move to the new CryENGINE. We are in need of a set of dedicated individuals to join our talented team to make this mod come true.

To quote directly from our website : National Crisis is a first-person shooter modification for Valve's Half Life 2 in which players take part in a full-scale modern world war in which all Europe has collaborated against American forces in a quest for the last remaining oil fields. The player can choose to side with either team as the European army go to war with America with their finest soldiers and weaponry from all nations.' For full details about the modification please visit our website which can be found at http://www.nationalcrisis.net/ . Please note the website has not been updated to reflect the new engine we are working on.

National Crisis has been in development for 4 months. This time has not been used to jump in at the deep end and model like crazy. Instead we used the time to forumlate a 20 page game design document in which all apsects of the game have been detailed. This time spent on designing, planning and moulding the game is often over-looked by other, ill fated, mods. The time spent here should alowd our modification to develop much faster as the team know's what it is they want to achieve and have a set of blue prints to work off. Thi can be an invaluable aid to a team member and this level of planning is unprecidented. We are looking for:

1) Experienced modellers capable in a 3D application such as 3DMax, Maya or other.
2) Skinners, knowledge of a graphics program required. UV unwrapping capabilities desired but not essential.

3) An experienced coder who is dedicated and willing. Previous experience in game modding is desired as is a good game development history.

We are also looking for people in the other game development areas so please get in touch if you feel you could contribute in any way shape or form. All applicants will be reviewed within 24 hours. If you wish to join us, have any questions or comments on the modification then please contact us at sonofa gun@nationalcrisis.net . MSN : ttrsonof agun@hotmail.com AOL : TTRsonof agun (please omit spaces between sonof and agun <-- wont let me post with them together)
