I just bought this game and Im really really mad because it just WILL not install.

I have 6MB free

I put in CD one, it begins to install, playing a rap tune that stutters and stumbles and halts and jerks as my hard drive and hard drive whir. It asks for CD 2. I put that in and time goes buy, jerky music haltingly blaring at me. It asks for CD 3. I put that in, more time, more jerky music. It asks for CD 1 again. More time / music. Asks for CD 2. More time/music. Asks for CD 3. More time/music. Informs me that im running out of hard disk space (Remember I had 6GB free). I had to cancel in the end. I have tried to install all night now. About 3 hours. I have finally given up. I loved the demo of this game that ran fine on my computer. Its why I bought the game. But for $80 Im not putting up with this crap. Its going back to the store on Monday and Im getting my money back. I want to play a GAME, not play musical chairs with a bunch of CD's

System:
PIII 866
256 MB ram
40X CDrom
20 GB HD with 6GB free space
Geforce 4 Mx 440 with 64 MB DDR ram

Hi Mandrake42,
I had a similar problem by using virtual CD disk, in my case I used Alcool120%, when I removed the virtual disk I created the problem has been solved.
I hope this help.
Stefano

Ok! Thanks for your help but it seems the problem was my CD ROM itself! Typical. Thanks anyway!

I noticed that this happened at my friend's computer also. It turned out that he had his cd rom set on PIO mode instead of DMA. Once we fixed this, the music played fine and we were able to install the game. PIO mode eats up the processor like no other.
