how do I insert weapons

how do I insert weapons? I have tried everything but when I insert them I cant see them in the map? where do I click? Entinty? simple entinty? and how do I insert trees like palms etc? I have read the manual but still cant figure it out http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

You should read the manual! Everything you want to know is explained very well in there. Look in one of the stickies for a DL link.

Not everything is explained in the manual.
I too would like to know how to insert weapons. I have looked throught the manual and havent come across it yet.

After all if everything was in the manual there would be no need for the modding & Mapping forum.

I think I know how to insert them into the map but I dont know how to equip already established units.

Just go into entities and select weapons then drag & drop into map.

That's right, simple drag-and-dropping ought to do the trick.

Equipping mercs with weapons is done slightly differently, though. I'm not gonna explain though, do a search.
