Hi i used to play Il-2 with a saitek X45 and set up all the buttons with no problems, i appreciate that lockon being more modern of aircraft are harder to like lock on and fire etc but i need help with a simple set up for the game to like aim/fire/next target sorry for being a total newbie for this but like i cant get what button presses i need to get the aircraft to lock and fire can some one list what actual buttons do what and what i need to get me started.
For example do i need to say lock on with a button then arm a weapon (is there a button that has to be activated to fire each weapon?).
(Sorry to say this ubi but IL-2 was very easy to set up for novices to flight sims this seems very complex even on the novice setting everything should have been simplified, so as players get used to things they could setup more and more and become proper pilots! hehe)

Can someone plz help ive had this game for about a week and like cant even fire at a single thing!!!

Many thx

LoMac and it's jets has many radar modes (keys 2,3,4,5,6,7..). (7 is for example air to ground attack mode), with D you change pylon (misile type) ect... Best you'll do with reading the manual.

Suggest you get the manual laminated. I didn't and mine has already reached its fatigue life limit, and now it's almost unreadable. Good shooting.

Thanks for all the help guys ive had my kills on the A10, i still think the game should have had a better explantion for total newbies with a newbie switch with all the major controls simiplified i mean with Il-2 i could without any computer help take off and land and target enimies, trim rudder and flaps etc etc.
I appreciate that Il-2 is simplified for WW2 craft but to attract a new audiance ubi should have got the programmers to make this easier and more accesible for others. I do think with 4 of my friends whom love Il-2 and all their expansion packs that have bought this sim and taken it back cause its just soooo difficult to setup or fly should take note of this, this is like Il-2 but with a more modern theme and that trims locks etc should have been made much easier to assess and setup.

I hope my time with lomac will hopefully become eaiser thx for all the help once again.
