Saitek x45 Profile

I just got rid of that god awful POS Logitech Extreme 3D(my 3rd one!!!)and upgraded to the Saitek x45. To any x45 users:
1) Do I create a profile for Lomac on the game "Options-Input" screen like I did for the Logitech or do I do it in the Saitek Profiler.

2) Does anyone have any good profiles for the Saitek if I must create a profile in the profiler.

1) definitely use the profiler software

2) there is a huge thread by Precog about the x45 in here somewhere. It has all the info you need about it. His profile is in there too. Lots of good profiles available if you have a bit of a search around.

I modified Precogs profile a little bit (added SU-33 arrest hook and wing folding, cobra maneuver, etc.).
