Is there no way other than looking in another direction after throwing a flashbang to stop from being blinded, Cant see any mention in the manual and its a bit of a pain if you want to storm a room?

Nope, sorry. You either have to stand by the wall (recommended) or turns around (not such a good idea; cap in the butt).
