i prepared the parts on the bottom of the elevator, i have to light on the lamp on the main tower.... now what? i moved the parts and the elevator is still locked up top
somebody!!! anybody!!!

Hmmmmm...there isn't a lamp in the central tusk, but you do need to get up there (as you well know). Definitely recheck your settings, but specifically, check the 3 hanging pendulums -- the drawing is rather ambiguous about which settings they are on.

Use the same control that raised the elevator to lower it.
