Far Cry cheats

I wanted to play thru the game with all weapons and god mode. I need details on entering the cheats. Ive tried the -dev in properties and changed the DevMode.lua file like instructed with no luck at all. If anyone knows how to do this, thanks in advance. detailed instructions please.

Hi

I expect you have done it right, as long as you put the devmode switch at the end of your shortcut correctly. Post what you did if you're not sure. Plus, I assume your not making the rookie mistake of changing the shortcut and then starting the game from the program list or some other method that double clicking on the shortcut to start the game? You must use the shortcut for it to work.

I can't seem to get my cheats to work either. I tried the devmode way, but the properties dialogue box wouldn't let me apply the changes to the end of the shortcut. I even tried typing in the cheat codes using the " ~ " key, but didn't work.

I wanna cheat! Please help.

I know how to enter -dev mode in properties inside shortcut and use it to join game. Ive tried config files from 3 different sites. NONE of my cheats work. I can change levels but no cheats are activated. I enter the god_mode_count=1 cheats and they dont activate either. I dont understand why its not working.Others seem to be having the prob also

With the LUA file i used, i added the (space)-devmode in the shortcut, then to activate the cheats, i hit "backspace" for god, O for ammo, P for all weapons..i got the lua from this forum somewhere..also be sure you start the game from the shortcut, not the autorun
