Okey I've looked everywhere in the forum Preferences and in the My Icon page, but I can't for the life of me find out how some of you guys link your Forum icon to a gif elsewhere.

C'mon what's the secret? What's the bleedin' obvious bit I'm overlooking?

The easiest way to explain this is to let you see the code we use. So hit reply to my post and take a look at the code in my post.
Obviously you need to remove the hyphens.
Hopefully that will help.

Be careful about the the size of the files. See http://forums.ubi.com/messages/message_view-topic.asp?name=us_il2sturmovik_gd&id=zkkgp for limits.

I like the P40 tho - hopefully someone will do a nice RAAF skin for it in FB soon.

Some code to change the avatar, some code to change the 'bar' at the top and some to change the color of the page....
