I`ve heard about breaking necks in MP when you got a merc from behind. But on the PT website, it says that Shadow-Net is strictly non-lethal.
Breaking necks sound kinda lethal to me.

But lets say that you can`t break necks, but only knock out. Will the knocked out person wake up by himself after som time, does he have to be waked by a teammate, or will he be out for the rest of the game?

And at last, the tasers shot by the spys; Will they knock out, just stun for a few seconds, or just mess with the electronics (like the chaff grenade)?

I think the tazers will temporarily stun a mercenary so the spy can e.g. sneak past him unnoticed.

You have to use non-lethal Weapons, but the only way to kill a mercinary is by sneaking up to them from behind and breaking their necks or falling from on top of them.

and the sticky shockers only stuns them for a little while, but you get a head shot with the shocker, it stuns them for a little longer than a body shot...and if you get killed or knocked out, you respawn at your starting area.

Respawn????? http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/blink.gif

If it is so, how come all the game modes have "neutralize/kill all enemies" (that is for both spys and mercs.) as a victory condition?

I`ve also heard/seen "only one spy left". If they respawn, than there cant be a number of them left.

It's Like Halo, your out of the game for a short period of time, and then you respawn/restart at the spot you left off.

nah it's not like that, you have to hack or implant something if your a spy, and stop them if your a merc.

This is straight from the new PT website:

-Spy-
"Victory: Neutralize the ND133K`s or eliminate all the mercenaries."

-Mercenary-
"Victory: Eradicate all the spies or protect the ND133K`s until the end of the game."

SO there will be a time limit for the spys actions . So they should move fast and quiet

Yes, there is a time limit on the multiplayer games. And yes, you can win by either completing the objective or killing all the mercs/spies.

Can anyone say for sure that there will NOT be any respawning?
(i really hope so. respawning removes the pain of dying.)

No, there won't be respawning.

Hey, Dawg, in the EGM with the PT cover, they say in their multiplayer review that the spies do respawn. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

Regardless of what the factual outcome is in this debate, I am VERY much against respawns in this game. Yeah, it makes dying more bearable. That's the point! I can rush in and recon their defenses, die, come back and try again, having a very good idea of how they will respond to me...among other options permissible due to respawns. Throw in the fact that in real life I can't respawn when I die, and I think it would SERIOUSLY detract from the game. It's only 4 people, and with a time limit (at least usually, if not every game), so you're not gonna be sitting out for TOO long even if you die early in the game.

What happens is that the merc do respawn but if both of them are dead at the same time you win.
