Airport Marksmen in Munich and other parts of Germany are to have a day off tommorow to pay their respects and remember the fallen. I know my uncle has a friend who was working in the tower, and didn't make it out alive. I will have to give him his own space tommorow.

One

As the soot and dirt and ash rained down,
We became one color.
As we carried each other down the stairs of the burning building
We became one class.
As we lit candles of waiting and hope
We became one generation.
As the firefighters and police officers fought their way into the inferno
We became one gender.
As we fell to our knees in prayer for strength,
We became one faith.
As we whispered or shouted words of encouragement,
We spoke one language.
As we gave our blood in lines a mile long,
We became one body.
As we mourned together the great loss
We became one family.
As we cried tears of grief and loss
We became one soul.
As we retell with pride of the sacrifice of heros
We become one people.

We are
One color
One class
One generation
One gender
One faith
One language
One body
One family
One soul
One people

We are The Power of One.
We are United.
We are America.

I didnt write it, but I think its very appropriate.

Remember what we do, all of us being apart of the Anti Terrorists group called Team Rainbow.
Seriously though....A very important thing happened on this day

I just watched In Memoriam: New York City, 9/11/01 and I have to say that it made me remember what happened that morning. After watching it I felt sad for the people that suffered that day then the sense of anger overwhelmed me. If you wonder why we have troops in the Middle East kicking *** then you need to remember why exactly we are there.

God Bless

Great poem, Cipher. I'll never forget that morning when my alarm clock woke me up with the ominous news. God bless those fallen on 9-11, and all who have suffered worldwide because of such heinous acts of terrorism.

Like many significant moments in history people will remember where they were and what they were doing when this most terrible of attrocity was inflicted upon the world.

People of all ages, religions, colours, nationalities and creeds were killed by probably the worst single act of terrorism the world has ever seen (and I pray the worst the world will ever see.

The in-human actions of the hostage takers in Belsan, Russia this past few days has sadly shown that the world is not without those who choose terror, fear and violence as their voice.

May all our thought be with those that have suffered at the hands of such people, whever they are.

And I, for one, pray that a day will come when such acts are no longer a threat to the world.
