top 500 supercomputers (http://www.top500.org/lists/2003/11/press-release.php)
the worlds fastest supercomputer is a computer built by NEC and has a speed of 35 teraflops.
is 35 teraflops the same as 3500 gigahertz??
i wonder if she runs on ATi or nVidia http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Gigaflop indicates one billion floting point calculations per second, as apple has been trying to get accross for some time now the two are not necessarilly dirctly relative.
Flops is a more usefull way of measuring speed on a PC in my opinion than Mhz. For instance you have a pentium four 2.0 Ghz which other than the TPI Clock is identical to the 2.5 Ghz model the 2.5 is clearly better and the FLOPS will be more on the 2.5 relative to the increase in Mhz but an Athlon XP2000 has more FLOPS yet and A TPI of just 1666Mhz.
Err what I am trying to say is I have no Idea if a super computer would run Lock On I suspect it wouldn't do very well and you would have to design a programmes to run Lo-Mac anyway.

yeah, good explaination.
also i think most supercomputers run on thousands of chips (i.e. 3000 2.4ghz pentium processors) and since lo-mac only runs off one processor....
now waht will i do with my 5 million sitting in the bank http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Gosh NoseCold, those widescreen displays are sick! I know if I won the lottery, I would have to buy one of those 3-4 panel big screens with a monster cpu to go along. Someone makes a jet "cockpit" complete with a place for your HOTAS throttle and stick.
Some of these sick people have sick sim pits:
