maybe you should check ATI website

check the ATI site, but you use your hardware install/uninstall utility in control panel on windows. uninstall, reboot (in VGA, default driver), install the new driver (that you downloaded previously), reboot, you're done (if it works, mine always does). if not, repeat, or get a new driver.
