It looks like the AAA respawns after a certain period of time after being destroyed in a dogfight server. Is there any way to turn this off so that once it's dead it stays dead?

I believe they respawn every 30 minutes (might be mistaken).

You can use a [Respawn] command in your mission file and set Artillery to something other then the default (mind you most prefer a quickly time - I often use 10 minutes). You would want to use a large number to ensure they remain offline.

At work, can someone provide the actual syntax?

‚"Throughout the story of air fighting runs the quest for height, for the fighter on top had control of the air battle.‚"Ě (Air Vice-Marshal J.E. ‚"Johnnie‚"Ě Johnson, RAF)

Object respawn times for dogfight missions are set up in the [RespawnTime] section of the MIS file.

Allowed object categories are:

Bigship - (Larger Ships)
Ship - (Smaller Ships)
Aeroanchored - (Air Balloons)
Artillery - (Categories: Artillery, Stationary Armor)
Searchlight - (Searchlights)

The time is measured in seconds. Minimum allowed delay is 20 seconds and maximum is 1000000. 1800 seconds (30 minutes) is the default value.

*Example:

[RespawnTime]
Bigship 1800 <----30 minutes (default)
Ship 900 <----15 minutes
Aeroanchored 600 <----10 minutes
Artillery 300 <-----5 minutes
Searchlight 3600 <-----1 hour

*Example in actual MIS file:

[MAIN]
MAP Net3Summer/load.ini
TIME 12.0
CloudType 2
CloudHeight 1000.0
army 1
playerNum 0
[RespawnTime] <-----Added Command
Bigship 300 <-----Added Command
Ship 300 <-----Added Command

**This will respawn all ships in 5 minutes.
-------------------------------------------

***These added commands seem to erase if map is changed (edited) and saved! You will have to enter them again.

**The 'Artillery' Respawn command does not work on Stationary Objects or Stationary Aircraft, but it does work on anything in the 'Stationary Armor' and 'Artillery' categories in the FMB. For instance, the ZSU-37 (stationary armor), which I use a lot for AA will respawn using the 'Artillery' setting. Basically, anything that spawned earlier can have their respawn time changed.

Concerning your particular question, set the 'Artillery' category to a very high number. For instance, 5 hours would be '18000'.
