I want one http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
Would go great with my Parhelia and LOMAC.
btw any of you hardcore flight simmers that haven't looked into a Parhelia for use with this game - DO IT!!!! No you're not going to get 60fps but you won't care http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
35 - 40 fps with 3 screens is amazing

why settle with the cinerama when you can get the grand canyon? http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Just grab yourself 2 projectors and make your whole room into a Simulator. If you don't like to always fly in the dark, then grab 2 60" plasma screens (but those will run you 15k each http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif )....

Lo-mac's gonna run REALLY slow on those because only Matrix parhelia support three screen gaming.

If you read the details on that site there is a rather expensive encoder that goes along with them to make it all possible. I venture a guess that the technology in this setup would make any video card (including the Matrox) pale in comparison. I also venture that a card with single output could run most of these set ups due to the encoder mentioned, but I have not looked at the specs that hard.
Will still stick with my DLP projector plan.

But unfortunately LOMAC does not gonna support multiview, it just gonna stretch its standard view the whole length of the monitor... http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

Myria2: LOMAC DOES support 3 monitors. The demo was stretched across 3, the full game is not stretched. Just a wicked wide angle view. Really opens up your peripheral vision. ie. one can look out the side window and still see the hud on the far monitor - no more disorientation when panning views right to left.

If I had that kind of money, I'd just buy a real airplane...like a Sukhoi 29.

Eh.
If you roll 90-degs and pull you won't be seeing where you need to - on your lift line.

Parhelia DOES support three monitors - right out of the box - and does NOT stretch the image across the screens. You really have to see this in action to believe it. No need for TrackIR software This is as good as it gets!! I can't believe more flight sim fans have not taken advantage of this card - especially with 17" monitors being so cheap.
I can send you a short video (<1mb)of my parhelia setup in action w/Lomac...just gimme your email.

well franc, your not really sitting right at the screen are you?...so your sitting far back, will the veiw be about the same reletive size as a 17-19 inch moniter?
I htink the 3 monitor set up sitting up close would be best.
