GR compared to R6

I think GR is much better because:


- its got open terrain thus giving better tactical options
- now there is use for a sniper
- its not so dull as r6 where u run around corners constantly looking for tangos


and many more

i have played RS on psx (elite) and played GR and DS on ps2 also on elite, how hard that was, btw. but i loved it all the same
and i laught my balls off in the 2 player mode.

Yup they're similar in that they're both Squad based FPShooters but they differ in the way you actually have to play them.

GR is great your right, I play on XBLive and I have high hopes for RainbowSix3 which comes out later this year with full online support! Its looking better than GR at the moment if your into that sort of gameplay. I believe they plan to release it on PS2 & GC sometime 2004 so hopefully they'll include online play for those aswell /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

that's very kind of you. here i was thinking all xboxers were arseholes hating ps2.
you've changed myy vision about you guys.
but i still prefer ps2. i'm an old fan of ps1 you see, i just stick with it.
I hope GR jungle storm on ps2 is better than the xbox gr games
that way it would really rock cuz' the xbox had good GR expierience

I need to get a PS2, right now i have an X-box.
I dont like the old RB6's but the new one looks better than GR but I'll have to see how fun RB6 is. I own and enjoy GR and IT. Great games......

R63 looks awesome but since most glitches in GR and GR:IT can be found on squared off objects like walls I'm worried about the amount on R63. The more hard edges Ubi Soft has in a game the more glitches I find. Some of them are almost inexcusable considering how easy they are to find and have you scratching your head wondering if they actually had a tester check the game. If they did then was he smoking too much weed when testing? Everyone knows I love GR and GR:IT but I call it like I see it.

I like r63 better right now.Ghost Recon would rule with better graphics and a gun on the screen. GR bores me now and anybody who owns Xbox and wants PS2 is a fool. Jung;e Storm = island thunder.

I wouldnt use the PSX veriosn of R6 as the base for the comparrison as it was dyre to begin with.
R6:RS had some great outdoor levels on PC for multiplayer and sniping, but Pistols only killhouse 2 story is still were the funs at /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Ive had a PS2 since UK launch but ive gotta say that its the xbox thats getting most of my playtime at the moment..except maybe for Frontmission 3.

well, I'm a little biased since I enjoy a good balance of outdoor maps and CQB maps so I'll go with GR,
RvS does look better and involves wit and skill, but with the patch delays, bugs, hacks ruins the multiplayer aspect of the game
