In the baths there is a sand cloud on top on a high pillar that has a broken ladder attached to it. You can't reach the ladder because the ground is wet. Upon examination there is a clear but convoluted path to this sand cloud.
Many ledges and poles ring the room and eventually lead to a small opening in the wall that leads to the sand cloud. My problem is starting this all off. I see what I think is the start point but it is also too high to reach.
Now I forget if there were any boxes in the room, my current save has none.
Any help in reaching that sandcloud would be appreciated.

Continue on. You have to go forward, do some stuff, and then come back in order to get that cloud.

You have to go forward a little ways and push a stone thru a hole where it will fall one staircase (or floor) above the ladder. From there you will have to grab the stone and push it off the waterfall and move it under the ladder.

Pperes, oftentimes if you read the other posts on this board, you will see that your question has been answered somewhere else, as many people have problems with the same parts of the game.
I answered this same question in a thread just a few lines below this one, and since I don't see the point in typing it all over again, I will just paste the answer that I gave in that post here:
Climb the ladder and collect the sand cloud. From there, climb through the window and drop onto the ledge in the next room. Move from the ledge to the wooden platform on your right which is attached to the wall. Climb through the hole in the wall into the room with the ladder. Walk along the ledge until you reach the end and jump backwards onto the pillar. Rotate on the pillar until you are facing the two ledges on the wall to your right. Jump from the pillar and catch the bottom ledge. Walk to the end of this ledge toward the hole in the gate, and when you can no longer traverse that ledge, jump and hang from the one above. Shimmy across that ledge into the other room.
Continue along until the ledge crumbles, and then drop down to the ledge below. Walk on this ledge until you are against the wall, and then jump to catch the ledge above you. Do not stand on the ledge, though. Continue to hang from the ledge and you will be able to shimmy to your right around the bend in the wall until you are directly in front of a pole attached to the wall. Jump backwards onto the pole. Swing from the pole onto the wooden plank attached to the wall. From this plank, wall-run to the one in the corner. Now, wall-run again to the plank in the right-hand corner in the room in front of the door.
Once you walk through that door, you will be overlooking the room with Farah. If you look up, you will see a wooden beam running between the walls. You need to catch that beam, so run up the wall next to the door and jump from the wall to the beam. Swing across the series of beams until you reach the other side, and then shimmy into the opening and the next room. Run across the room until you reach the barrels, and break them. Dodge the traps, and then it's into the doorway and the next room to deal with the sand creatures.
Hopefully I have covered the part that had you stumped; good luck! /i/smilies/16x16_woman-happy.gif
