well they should sort out the bullet lag and mayb gng back to trigger lag will b a better idea, but i'd prefer if they sorted it out properly instead of jus trying to trick us, apart from that everything else seems to be ok for me at the moment, no other major bugs discovered in 1.4.

1 - UBI has no idea how to fix what they have done because of the things they have done to the engine, or lack of.

2 - UBI is stringing us along til athena sword comes out which will fix everything

I think number 2. Why give out patches for free that fix everything when they can charge us for an exspansion pack.

Expansion packs still rely on the core engine files. Why would you assume they would include a special RvS patch with the athena sword *MISSION* pack.

Athena sword is nothing but maps and guns.

It is the only reason UBI is probobly trying to patch this game, but the development team obviously doesn't know how to code for the unreal engine. And they are learning as they go.

We need the SDK! I know 3 people who could fix this games bugs and netcode in a month and a half.

But if UBI are as smart as they are stupid when it comes to fixing RvS (no offence to ubi) they will give ATHENA SWORD its very own CDKEYS with its very own CDKEY check server.

- Fix smoke detail setting (reversed).
- Fix increased bullet delay and improve hit detection.
- Fix single player problems with gui and maps.
- Fix sound so that some players can't hear alot further.
- Fix weapon swap delay on autoswap to primary.
- Add Punkbuster support.
- Add Pure server option.
- Remove CDCHECKS and lan CD key authorization.

I think they have done some nice work on trying to get all the bugs fixed. But I do have one complaint.

What happend to QA? if QA test's game patches (I know they do) then why cant the find all the bugs that have been happening with all the patches? 1.3 Countdown timer Stopped at 1, 1.4 No way to unlock Missions in SP.
Maybe I should get a job as a QA tester that way I can test it and help ya out because the qa team is kinda doing a horrible job.

Personally i want only more FPS. just that. seriusly. I i love this game. i really do. I spend 5 months of saving money to buy the original cd. And i do not want a refund of all.

I am very ungry with all the issues of the game, but my beloved rvs will be the best game i played forever.

UBI really have one of the worst developers team i never saw. I do not know who leads this team, or even who cordinates the "testing" of the patches. They maybe are doing their best try to fix the game. But is not sufficient.

The game need to be fixed now. Because it is a shame. We wasted so much time posting here, reading threads, creating topics sharing tricks and cvars improvemets, dealing with ini files to get 1 or even 5 fps more, all these again because their poor knowledge of unreal engine and maybe, getting this old engine.

Also, we must remember ALL the people who "worked" on release this bugged/poor game. It is blame of them by all the problems that we had to fight and we continued fighting.

I think i am better writing english than they coding something.

what should go into 1.5?

nothing, i really dont care, even get more FPS. i am so sick hoping a fixed game. I really want more FPS, but, i am not waiting this comes true. All they gave me are frustrations after frustrations.

They have often lain already. Too many times. No longer I wait for nothing of them. I only let pass the time.

a) the truth on what can and cant be fix, instead of masking the problems and saying they fixed it
b) a fix for weapon lock/frag lock, its still there.
c) remove that horrid bullet delay
d) a public beta testing of the next patch

and possibly
e) free distribution of the 2nd expansion pack for all the trouble we have to deal with
