1.31 Patch Won't Install (original RS exe and Core dll)

first of all, i already replaced the v1.3 no-CD RS exe & Core dll with the the ORIGINAL (officially patched) v1.3 RS exe and Core dll before i applied the official 1.3 to 1.31 patch. But it still won't install the patch. It says some missing registry/ini/old file not found error.

I am very familiar with no-CDs and official patches. I always put back the correct version originals b4 applying the correct version patches. Its worked all along except this present patch. Dont tell me i've got to reinstall! I believe its a patch not-so-smart wizard problem.

sorry, but if you install hacks don't expect the patch to work. You probably will have to install.

shows your ignorance about how no-CDs hacks work.
no-CDs for this game simply replace the RS exe and Core dll with hacked ones so the game runs without having to have yr CD in the drive. B4 any official patching, you simply overwrite them with the backed up originals, then apply the patch. You then overwrite the patched originals with the new equivalent version of the no-CDs. It has always worked perfectly up until this 1.31 patch. I bet ist a patch wizard problem.

The patches never work after using no cd hacks,so you better get used to reinstalling game after every patch.

I do the same thing, the ravenshield.exe and the core.dll It worked fine. It is probably some little stupid bug in the install on some PCs. Eithr way you will have to re-install since it wont update you to 1.31 you dont have a choice.
