Error Installing Splinter Cell PT

i was looking around this forum for an installtion error that i have recently get it pops up about a quarter of the way installing and looks like this:-

Component: Game Files
File Group: Common Game Files
File: D:\data2.cab
Error: Data Error (cyclic redundancy check)

someone said they got it working but not how...if someone could send me a quick reply i would greatly appreciate it...
