Can't enable Punkbuster

Hi, sorry if this has been posted before, but I'll get online and play a few games, and then all of a sudden I won't be able to join games because "Punkbuster must be enabled." It was enabled when I started, and when I leave ubi.com and try to rejoin, the little box in the lower right hand corner that is usually there to enable punkbuster is no longer there. I can reinstall the 1.2 patch and punkbuster can be enabled again, but what a pain in the butt. Does anyone know what causes this and what I can do to make it stop? Thanks.

Yea this problem also happend to me thats why im reading this forum tryin to figure this out. uuugggghhhh this is getting very fustrating i wanna play this game i ACTUALY WENT AND BOUGHT IT UBI! I BOUGHT this soo now i wanna play online. But the stupid punkbuster thingy wtf dose that do anyway? keep us from cheating or somfin? but yea the box isnt showing up anymore after i clicked it

Do a find in the SC2 forums for "punkbuster" and you'll find a solution. I had this problem earlier, and fixed it by downloading someone else's PB folder. There is a thread with a link to the zipped PB folder, and instructions on what to do. I also went to evenbalance.org and dl'ed the latest pb.exe file and ran it. Since doing that, I've had no problems.

Reinstalling the 1.2 patch works as well... though, that's not quite an efficient procedure..is it?

That'll work, but you'll have to do it pretty much every time you connect to a server (I did.)
