The one thing I hate about PT is the fact that they create a forum where they allow people to put the same thread up OVER AND OVER AGAIN like "What do you like and what dont you like about PT?" Why dont I just post a thread comparing consoles?! I bet that has never been done...*Dripping with sarcasm*

I like the multiplayer aspects. The game is so much different than any other mutliplayer game out there. Who would have thought that in a day and age when games are fighting to stretch player limits to accomidate more and more folks online, that a game where 2v2 is the max would be such a breath of fresh air! More games need to explore new aspects of gameplay like SC:PT has rather than rehashing the same old crap over and over again.

Agreed. I think the multiplayer by itself is worth the price of admission. I'm slowly working through the single player campaign, but I keep coming back to the multiplayer.

I also think this is one of the causes of aggro spies and other (albeit now easily dealt with - been practicing!) annoyances. A lot of people in my experience still haven't figured out how to play this game after playing UT and CS for years (nothing against those GREAT games, by the way). But when you've got a good partner and are equally matched, the game has so many fantastic and memorable moments.

i'm sry, i LOVE the single player mode, great mission, ace graphics and all but i find the multiplayer a bit of a bad idea in my opinion.

Bad thing is that in single player, the enemies are NOT expecting u, so they act very normal and are not alerted by you as they dont know you're there.

Multiplayer, as your playing against REAL people, they obviously know that u are there. every server i have joined so far, the mercenaries just run around, not stopping, looking in all rooms and just basically leg it every where BECOZ THEY KNOW YOU'RE THERE AND THEY ARE EXPECTING YOU.

i find this very $H1T to be honest as it makes it VERY hard to use stealth and very irritating as full 100% stealth is why i like the single player mode so much, and MP just dont allow you to do this...

if you could play the same game modes, but have the enemies controlled by the computer instead, that would be great, 3 or so mates sneaking about against COMPUTER enemies... think about this ubi soft, it needs more though... glad i bought the game though for the single player, it rules http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

maybe if you use total stealth and dont run around you wont get detected then they wont know where you are then thatrs when your stealth...

but my point is as your playing against HUMANS they're expecting you to be in the building, so they're actualyl looking for u while your looking for them and trying to do the objective, playing against computer enemies, they're none the wiser as its all part of the game that they dont know you're there, so u can take them completely by supprise, its also does p1$$ me off when ppl (even spies) dont play my stealth, and just run around shooting at anything they see, its pointless and takes away the whole 'stealth' feel to the game

if you play with poeple that spies dont do that...then its fun..

Im bummed pandora tomorrow wasnt as good as SC 1, I havent got into the MP much yet. BU SC:PD was to short and not as detailed as the first. Dont get me wrong I love the game SC:PD But I expected more. Actually your all going to hate me for saying this, but I feel that 3rd CD should have been used for the SP game..instead of the MP part. Or at least make it 4 CD's because the originall was 3...Now SC:PD is 3 with multiplayer..so the 3rd CD went to MP. Thats why the game is shorter and less than the 1st. Oh well. Hopefully SC 3 is 85 CD's of endless Splinter Cell action!!!

I agree! SC Pt was to short, so hopefully Sc 3 (if it comes) are a lot longer than SC PT.

Love everything about PT...storyline, realism, levels, cinematics(except for ending), slightly improved graphics....just a bit too short
I see what u mean jay....multiplayer is fun but sometimes u can't employ the same tactics u do in single player...
What would be cool tho would be a multiplayer level or someting (eg. vertigo plaza) and take the mercs and put some AI into them then put Sam in there to extract information....could be a downloadable mission or something...
