Okay i don't know what i did. but i was getting 25-35(sometime40) FPS in LOMAC. I could NEVER play the campaign missions, they would bring fps to like 8. so i'm always stuck with making my own simple missions. which is fine for me because i love just taking off and intecepting escorted bombers on the way to a friendly target. But then....

Then i d/l LOMAN and messed around with things. now i'm all ****ed up. Even when acheiving 25-35(sometimes 40) FPS it was with some options turned down.

Anyway the moral of the story is that i run a P4 2.4 w/ 768 megs of ram w/ radeon 9700 PRO and SB audigy 2 platnum. i've gone into producers.cfg and set force feed back false and turned accel sound OFF i've gone into the graphics folder and set daytime draw to 8000 and 10000 (as opposed to 10000 and 15000). basically doone a bunch of stuff to speed the game up and now i'm back watching a slide show!

WTF did i do in LOMAN??? I had pretty much everything jacked except water ground and PRLD. i don't know what all the "clipping" settings in LOMAN are. basically i feel like i am running a solid *** system on a fresh format and i don't know what is holding me back. it's bugging the crap out of me.

Well the nice thing about LOMAN is you can undo what you did... Why don't you backtrack the stuff you installed and find out what made your fps take a nosedive.

It happened to me too , I downloaded a skin for lomac and installed it in loman and when I tried the skin out my fps went from 20-40 down to 6 or soo . As soon as I uninstalled the skins or just played the game without using them my fps went back up ....mayby the skins are of too high quality for my lousy comp ?

yes some high res skins are not appreciated at all with some system http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

it will work fine with loman 2.0 which will insert texture in CDDS file (if user check the checkbox)
