Can't finish Gahreesen

I have all the linking cloths now and am at my wits end trying to figure out what is next. I know I have to get to the top again but when I link into the beginning of the age and look for the lit elevators, the lights are all out. What next?

Rats! After being inside the fortress I'm ready for some high altitude fresh air! And the conclusion of this age... did I miss something somewhere? I don't want to leave this age without finishing it.

As long as you have Bahro Pillar from the age, then there is probably nothing else for you to do.

The first elevator is beyond the sign that tells you to get your KI, and the second one is across from the machine that gives you the KI, right? Both are dark.

I don't have the Bahro pillar yet. Don't I need to go into the cave to get that before I finish this age? Yikes!

One thing I discovered is don't hit any of those blue buttons that close doors behind you. Leave the doors open. This applies to all ages.

I've just reread your original post and I may have misunderstood you. Do you have all 7 cloths for Gahreesen?

Remember the journey cloth between the two rotating buildings? Go back to that and look down...

Weird. Have you turned the power off? Where does your current journey cloth go?

Actually that's what I'm trying to do by getting into the elevators: go back up to the rotating platform to do the jump to the rock spire. But there's no blue lights on or power. Is that normal?

Look on your hand -- do you still have your KI? If not, go get it again.

Is the power still on? If not, go back to the machine room and restart it.

Neither of these works? You have some kind of a bug. You may need to reset Gahreesen and start over. You can do that by clicking the "delete book" button (under the book) in your Relto. Then bring it back and the age should be reset.

Can't even get through any doors to go to the machine room anymore. What a bummer. I have my KI on and the only place I can go is the first floor where I get my KI and or link to the cell room. Thanks for all your help anyway. I guess its start over time.

Is your KI activating doors? You should be able to climb back up to the second floor, the way you did before, then pass through the hallway doors to get back to the gear room and turn on the elevator power again.

If your KI is not even activating doors, I would guess your overall power has somehow been turned off and you will have to go through the crack in the wall again on the second floor and reactivate all the power again.

You should be able to get back to the gear room again with or without power (via two different paths depending on overall power activation). That seems to be the missing element for you. Not sure how your power settings would have been changed, but seems to have happened somehow.

Thank you! I forgot about the crack in the wall! Indeed, the power was off. (?) Why? So I turned it on again ... I made it back to the top and expect to finish the age now. Thanks to all who helped!
