Animated .Gif Help

Sorry if this belongs in the Off Topic form. Any way, what programs are you guys/gals using to make animated .gifs with? As you can see my pics are ripped off of another website. I have tried to find a good program that is relatively simple to use but no luck. Any and all suggestions are welcome. Thanks.
